Nothing would get in their path to make sure Tyson was the youngest champ ever, I wouldn't be surprised to find out he had a whole lab behind his quest.
Tyson was that size as a teenager though....he stopped growing pretty early and then just refined his technique. I got no doubt he juiced post prison though.

He was weighing in at 198,75 lbs against Tillman (first fight) in 1984, with a limit at 201, so he was likely still growing by then. Doesn't have to be steroids, but he was probably still growing.
Steroids were everywhere in sports in the late 1980's. They were not thought of as illegal but rather as a supplement. To think that steroids didnt come across the desk of the heavyweight champion of the world at that time seems like a stretch to me.
No. Let us be rational, fact based, not believing what benefits or appeals to us psychologically without evidence. You know, not like Donald Trump. The thread said Tyson admitted using steroids. That is false, he never has. Others show how Tyson was big & strong when very young, when poor & not working out, without motivation for or access to steroids. I & many lifters know many folks who bulk up with PEDs. Some use drugs & for a variety of reasons often involving effectiveness of protocols & genetics do not get that nbig & strong. Also if you do some research you can find that a small percentage of men can get very big or huge-not like a modern pro HW bodybuilder, but by normal standards-naturally. I am not saying Tyson definitely never used anything. But he & some folks could get that size & strength clean for a lifetime. We do not know if he used; unlike Holyfield, we do not have evidence. But assuming everyone used is irrational & unfair to many who did not cheat & lie.
And he skipped a few urine tests, which proves he was (1) dishonest and (2) gives no evidence that he wasn't using PEDs for those fights.
Green tea, or anything prior can delude the results but BLOOD is the all around most comprehensive testing for PEDs
