Agreed. GGG won't be in it though.
20 real defences. Mediocre looking opposition, but 20 defences counts for something.
LMAO! From someone who has Cerdan and GGG top 10, this is rich.
No, no-one has. 4 seconds of footage doesn't count. I don't include this as a factor, and neither do you, since you have Greb at #1.
I don't have to. But since I know you won't drop it, here: Extremely high level of opposition, hectic schedule, and he was fighting at plenty of different weights.
Who gives a flying ****? The HOF is utter ****.
That's coz you ain't ever seen a list worth **** :deal:
If you don't know who he is, don't comment.
Giardello is a great middleweight. Having him between 15-20 is completely acceptable. If you don't know why, you shouldn't comment.
Who cares if he had little power? Your number one had little power! His losses are equally as irrelevant as Williams' and can be explained in the same way; opposition and schedule.
    No. No-one has.

    Again. Irrelevant.

Care to post your list? You've picked through mine, albeit with easily dismissible points, so it's only fair.

I would of put Golovkin in my top 15 on his abilities, but not opposition, but again on performance and success which would of defo had him top 15 overall. Since the Canelo fights I don't know anymore, I had him a win on both score cards, can't remember which one as I can't find my score card book, but one could of been reversed to a draw with close rounds. My issue with the fights is they were gimmicky, yes very entertaining, but neither fighter went out there with their heart on their sleeve and put everything on the line for a win, they both seen the big pay check at the end and I feel coasted. These were his two biggest fights of his career and he should of went out to murder Canelo.
Lists and greatest are subjective no matter what way you cut it, and constructive arguement is good. Unless someone is blatantly lying or misinformed on info then rightly they should be lambasted, but otherwise no point getting offended if someone else has a different top 10 list.

Hopkins fouled Tito who was a blown up smaller welter without a jab. Those kidney shots to the ref's blind side by Hopkins were dirty and cheap, and a reason Hopkins stopped him Tito was clearly best at 147.

Aw, you can always change you mind. :) I'm willing to score a round with you. You must be ashamed as I can and will show your bias and mistakes. I get it.

Fact is I posted lots of media cards you can't change your mind ( this time ) that 114-114 was a minority card...Nope. 114-114 is your very bad score card, which I requested to see. Where it is?

You don't take me seriously? Oh I'm so crushed! Fact is you don't take yourself seriously, I mean based on all these contractions and direct quotes of what you said, only to say I no longer view it that way. Hilarious! I can build an augment pro and con with your own words. That's rich.

I think you were right the first time Toney vs Tiberi was a very bad decision. I think it would help you if I didn't point out what you said and wrote in the past, that much is clear. But I can help you a lot, just ask. Until then just remember not to contradict yourself so much, and when you get a chance re-think Walcott vs. Louis 1 and call it a day.

    Peace.

Of course  what kind if world is it you live where an opinion you form is absolutely written in stone even for an active fighter?

You're like, "aw, you can always change your mind" literally like it's something bad.

Listen: there is nothing i know now that i might not feel differently about tomorrow. Nothing. The very fact that you are behaving like this is suspect in some way is telling and rather pitiful.

    What. Does. This. Mean?

You're probably the most entrenched, biased poster on the entire forum. I have no idea what you are talking about for the most part.

I've told you four times now, I will produce my scorecard as soon as you produce yours.

What you do Mendoza is demand of others what you are not willing to supply yourself. "Post your top 40 middleweights. Me? Oh, I don't have one." "Post your scorecard. Me? I dont' need to score a fight to know who has won it."

Then, once you've succeeded in getting someone to post their whatever, you spend pages and pages complaining about it and copying and pasting Boxrec on the subject. It's awful.

Well, no more of that from me. If you want to see a scorecard of mine, you always can - I'll always show you. But first you have to post yours. Forever.

There is absolutely no way you can paint my changing my mind about Golovkin's ranking or Tiber's scorecard as a negative. Everyone who has responded to that dedicated thread on that specific point has agreed with me (just how many threads are you denigrating Toney in now?). Of course i've changed my mind about numerous key aspects in boxing over the past 13 years. The only tragedy would be if i haven't, and that tragedy belongs to you. Entrenched, fanatical, unthinking, unmoved. It's awful.

You disagree with me by one round.

    One. Round.

    What is wrong with you?

    No.
Yes. Fake is exactly the word to describe about eleven of them
    .... is ****.
    They're wrong.

It's also quite telling that you're incapable of forming and arguing your own opinions, and rely on other so called historians to do the work for you.

It's also interesting that you use the IBRO to prop up your Cerdan placement, but conveniently leave out the fact that GGG is nowhere to be seen.
Like who? Who from my list which is rated above Cerdan is a 'joke'?
Because he has a great record, and I have seen film on who he has beaten.
Because a lot of the losses weren't at middleweight

And yeah, I do. Because it doesn't. You fight the best, you lose from time to time.
    Yeah, it looked like this:

    #01. Harry Greb
    #02. Sugar Ray Robinson
    #03. Carlos Monzon
    #04. Marvin Hagler
    #05. Bernard Hopkins
    #06. Bob Fitzsimmons
    #07. Dick Tiger
    #08. Freddie Steele
    #09. Charley Burley
    #10. Holman Williams
    #11. Jake LaMotta
    #12. Teddy Yarosz
    #13. Frank Klaus
    #14. Stanley Ketchel
    #15. Mike Gibbons
    #16. Leo Houck
    #17. Joey Giardello
    #18. Tommy Gibbons
    #19. Lloyd Marshall
    #20 Emile Griffith
    #21. Mike O'Dowd
    #22. Ken Overlin
    #23. Bert Lytell
    #24. Tony Zale
    #25. Gene Fullmer

At about a third of your age (yeah, you're that old), I have a genuine claim for being legit boxing historian. It speaks volumes for your pathetic existence that one day, in a couple years, you'll be arguing with the next person who laughs at your ridiculous posts, and you'll be arguing an opinion of mine. That must be one of your 'even a broken clock is right twice a day' moments, eh?

Anyway, post your list and we'll see who's is a joke. Trust me, it won't be mine.
He's three inches taller than Cerdan
Again, I don't think you understand how much your validation and verification means to me. I really cannot express just how overjoyed I am that the one and only Mendoza thinks I'm less afraid than Blade and know more than Loudon.

Another joke post from the forum’s biggest joke.

Me: “I don’t posses IN DEPTH knowledge of 4-5 fighters from his list”

You: “Loudon doesn’t even know half of the fighters on your list”

And you expect people to believe that you’ve written articles on the sport.

    I despair.

The problem is you actually need to defeat someone notable at some point. If your best win is Danny Jacobs you are not an atg middleweight. Sorry you just aren't

I didn’t really think he beat Jacobs either, it was more along the lines of Hagler—Leonard or Taylor—Hopkins II. Hopkins and Hagler wrecked some of their best opponents.

Lots of fighter are robbed. IMO he won both fights. The media overwhelming thinks so it. He just was a victim of Oscar's judges.

He also took these fights when he was past his prime, and Canelo was in his prime on PED's.

Huh? GGG had the Knockdown, and out landed Jacobs 231 to 175

The fight was lost by Jacobs in the first 6 rounds. He was knocked down in round 4, and he got off to a bad start in round 1 by not throwing enough punches. Golovkin did bit more than Jacobs in rounds 1, 2 and 5.

When you factor in a 10-8 round, and the fact that he was out-landed in the majority of the rounds, there is no way Jacobs won.

It's in vogue here to ask for scorecards.
