    Disagree. He beat the **** out of Mike over 10 rounds. Not lucky. I get that you are talking about the circumstances of the fight but he still had it in him to do that.

    Earned his title shot by beating Jason F*cking Gavern of all people.

    Then fought Stiverne for the title.

    Then made titles defensives against Molina, Duhaupas, Spzilka, Washington, and Stiverne again. Has ever been a champion in boxing who went so long without facing even remotely half decent opposition?

    Martin Got hella lucly becoming champion by his opponent falling over and getting a.lwg injury. However he fought a top prospect in his first title defence to his credit.

    No skills besides power. Manufactured title reign. Faced one top 5 fighter in his whole career.
    Made tons of money and run from every possible challenge.
    His manager should get in the HOF for that manufactured career. Faced the worst title challengers ever

    Andy Ruiz, he was lucky that Miller failed a drugs test and that Whyte and Ortiz wouldn't take the AJ fight. He hit the jackpot to get the fight and payday, deservedly won the fight and then an even bigger payday for the rematch. Ruiz was not even in contention for an AJ fight before Miller failed his drugs test.

    I think Anthony Mundine has to be considered. He somehow managed to have a net worth of $30,000,000 from his boxing career. With his resume, it's pretty lucky to earn that much.

    Getting punched in the dick like 40 times over 2 fights is probably not qualifying for the luckiest boxer ever. even if you believe Golota would have won both fights, which is questionable since Golota loved to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, it's still not worth it vs just taking a few L's on your record.

    i can't think of anyone who would've schooled a prime roy, especially active fighters at that time from europe.
    many high profile european fighters between MW and LHW consciously stayed away from the US when hopkins and jones were kings, and with good reason.
