AJ’s been my lucky charm when it comes to betting so I’d be in a good mood about the money I guess, also post about how I knew Joshua was gonna win

I'd consider him the outstanding HW of his generation, because I think Fury is the ultimate test for him. Fury has better technical ability and the dimensions to make him a very difficult puzzle to crack.

The clash has become more interesting since AJ vs Ruiz JR 2 and Fury vs Wilder 2 as each man has shown they can change their approach. AJ boxed with skill and discipline to regain his belts, Fury monstered Wilder on the front foot and with another impressive victory on the road, now has to be viewed as the number one.

Can't wait for them to meet and we get some answers.

Wilder had been beated by Fury in his own backyard.
monstering doesn't means lack of skills and discipline. This to deal with Wilder is better solution.
Wilder is too tough to hope just outbox him 12 rounds and wait decision. Too dangerous.
He does have a lot of flaws and weaknesses, Fury is enough smart to use these to steamroll him. Proper gameplan requires skills.

It would be another depressing event like Wlad-AJ, Povetkin-AJ, Ruiz-AJ 2, those times when there was a real chance to destroy this false idol and his insidious handlers.

We would still hold out hope for Fury to come through in a rematch, but he might not be the same if he was actually truly beaten, especially KO'd. All bets would be off.

If Fury lost twice, it would be dark times indeed. If Usyk had already fought and lost, the war would be over. Fury and Usyk would have failed us. The axis of evil would have won. AJ would end up being PM of the UK, with snivelling hordes of English muppets bowing at his feet, while Hearn would be seen grinning away, receiving his knighthood from some establishment pedo.

    That's what's at stake.

When I said 'monstered' I didn't mean to in any way downgrade Fury's performance or his tactics. Quite the opposite! My point was that Fury had enjoyed a lot of success on the backfoot in their previous fight and most thought he'd repeat that in the second, taking more care not to open up for the Wilder right hand.

Instead, Fury showed that he could beat Wilder even more emphatically by going forward. It was a perfect performance and a complete vindication of his change in trainer and approach. Obviously beating Klitschko in his backyard was the pinnacle of his career so far, but this was a worthy second.

Wlad and Povetkin had been picked up when they already were too old. 39 y.o and 41 y.o.
Classic young lion vs old out of prime lion. Nothing new, nothing unpredictable.

Fury should maul and steamroll him like in Wilder II fight.

    "fair enough"

Fury's obviously skilled but people give him way too much credit his wins against Wlad and Wilder. He beat Wlad by marginally winning rounds with a few jabs and mainly showboating. Any idea of a dominant performance is ridiculous, Klitschko was actually landing his jab quite often in the first half. Oh yeah and Klitschko was 38/39

He beat Wilder but until that point Wilder had never fought any young prime legit opponents. And Wilder himself looked absolute terrible in Ortiz 2 his right hand completely and utterly bailed him out from a one sided beat down. Wilder has great right hand and is athletic however his balance / ring IQ / punch selection /footwork amongst other things are absolute dog****. Id choose a lot of these young fighters and top 10 opponents to beat Wilder.. However we'll never truly find out because he team are coward cherry pickers

As of right this fight is 50/50. Aj isn't deontay wilder. He's skilled. He posses the tools to trouble fury. Aj already confirmed he'd work the body of fury which is a known weakness of the gypsy king. In addition to that fury trying to attack Aj would only benefit joshua if they get in the pocket. And if fury attempts to box at range Aj isnt going to make the same mistake klitschko and wilder did and allow fury to jab jab and move. I guarantee he's going to be agressive on the front foot and put fury under pressure and try and make fury as uncomfortable as possible. He attemped this with 6'9 ivan dychko in the Olympics and had success

Also when they clinch joshua will most likely be very rough and aggressive which could also trouble fury

Man it's going to be wild overreactions by either fighter's fanbase no matter who wins so I'll probably avoid the "XXX vs THESE 20 fighters from 1970 to 1990" threads.

Would I be surprised if AJ beat Fury? No. While I think Fury will outbox him and win on points, AJ has a good boxing base, big power and an ability to see holes in the other fighter's game. Unlike Wilder spazzing out, I think AJ will close the show if he gets Fury hurt.

As a Joshua fan I would be happy.

Neither wants to lose to each other for bragging rights. Can see both having success. May the best man win
