On boxrec when you click on unknown opponent it always brings you to Manuel Ortiz

    When I’m on boxrec and it doesn’t have one of the fighters names on a fight it says ‘unknown’ and I click on ‘bout’ and then it brings up the two fighters and comparisons and then I click on the unknown opponent and it brings me to Manuel Ortiz, does anyone know why?

    His fighter ID is number one. He was the first entered into the database. Must just be a dummy program which sends you there.

    The owners / creators of Boxrec loved Manuel Ortiz. Out of respect, he is the first ID fighter.
