Butterbean might KOed everyone IF landed properly.
The biggest question in boxing always was IF.
    Low chances ofc still IF.

i dont like to try and rate a guy all time while their career is still on its upward trajectory, you have to see them lose or get tested and see how they adapt and learn and recover. Especially if they havent even faced the elites in or around their division. (that's not a dig on any particular fighter)

Where there was too big hype?
He is too small for 135 lbs limit.
With his size vs Campbell already was enough to see this.
Good that he managed to defeat this one.

I dunno think that loma is concerned about average U.S fans opinions about his resume. He is millionare with good record in tittle fights.
If fans wish undefeated, then there are solutions like late career cherry picker Floyd. Enjoy.
Loma maybe is not the best ofc but he had fought with the best he had been given to fight with.
He doesn't likes me but still, competitive fight is competitive fight.
With the same success Ali too maybe wasn't good, he was not undefeated.

You are rambling on about points I didn't even make.

No hype? There were people on this forum picking him over prime Roberto Duran and matching him with SRR. Commentators saying he 'did things never before seen in the ring'. That isn't hype - its OVERhype!

    I didn't say he wasn't.
It was a good win. I didn't say it wasn't.

I'm not from the US. And OK?

I didn't say anything about undefeated.

    What?

    this one.
Do you really think that Ali deserved decision win vs Norton?:D
Sorry, ppl in fourms and YT comments pick up Floyd vs HW superstars too.
Does this make Floyd as a hyped up or no?

Well Broner was built as the next best thing and even with his losses and inactivity he is still a 12 round challenge for almost anyone. You cannot KO THE TWIN/ CAN MAN

Losing fantasy fights isn't an issue.

Lomachenko has lost twice now, it's logical for people to extrapolate how those losses fair in other comparisons.

I wouldn't call that a bad thing at all tbh.

Mikey has become a *****, selling wins to bigger guys he has no hope of beating in exchange for $$$. Seems to be an effective strategy as long as there are chumps like you making excuses for him.

I think Mikey is just a little to small for 147. He could win around the edges but would most probably lose to the top guys.

he is. but we havent seen the best welter version of him yet, he will get better. but outside of spence, i would only have crawford as a slight favorite against him. i think he beats all others at 147.

I can guarantee you he isn’t a one punch KO monster against any half decent heavyweight. Those bums he was fighting don’t have chins or defence.

I guess it's not surprising that a combat sport would be attractive to people with a negative mindset who say stupid **** to stir up drama. Like my grandma said, "it takes all types."

It's much better to recognize that there's lot of space between invincible boxing god and worthless fraud. It's a real accomplishment to be the 9th best 140 pounder or whatever, it's interesting to discuss whether he could make it to the top 3 or if he's hit his ceiling, more interesting than wildly vacillating between hype and scorn anyway.

Interesting perspective. I’m a fan of Mikey but 140 is probably his ceiling. He gets KOd by Crawford, Manny Danny G and probably Thurman if Thurman is healthy. Porter brutalizes him even though Mikey probably wins a round or two. The Welter experiment for Mikey will go down as a failure and people encouraging him to continue at 147 are only prolonging the inevitable. They have weight classes for a reason and I suspect some people will need to see Mikey beaten and dominated at the higher weight a few more times before they wake up.

How may times and how badly does this guy need to be beaten before people realize he’s way above his natural weight? Are people really going to continue paying to see Mikey “come close” to winning a fight at WW? He gets one pass from me for the Spence fight. It was worth a shot but he wasn’t close. Mikey was fighting to not lose and to see the final bell. He had zero chance of winning and he realized it early. Spence seemed to be taking it easy on him because the fight was easy money. Mikey has some great fight options at 140, even better at 135 if he can make the weight. At 147, he’s just whoring his name and reputation. One or two more fights like that and his reputation will be worthless, and he might get hurt. Sad to see it happen to such a talented fighter and good guy.
