    He suffered three serious injuries in five of his fights up at 135 and I don't think that's a coincidence. He should've never campaigned up there and I feel really sorry for him because it was his dream to unify all the belts, for both him and his father, and it must've been soul destroying for him to come so close after doing all the hard work winning three individually. He only moved up in weight because boxing politics, being ducked or avoided (or for whatever other reasons) prevented him from doing it at the lower weights.

    Yeah, better english language skills makes better boxing in the ring.;)

    Why? Ruiz had defeated all boxers in pro ranks that had attempted to finish him.
    Leg lazy and looks fat, fast hands. Result : big probems for GOD and elite King.

    Speaking English cannot make a fighter become Brit Level but it can give them a better understanding of the mindset of a Brit Level fighter and thus help raise their overall level

    How about he just fights at heavyweight and knocks out some guys and try and get a belt and then become unified lineal heavyweight champion? How abou that instead?

    Jesus Christ, how about you read the opening statement?

    When is he going to get to do that with the Joshua-Fury-Wilder-Poevetkin-Whyte-Usyk-Puelv-Covid tangle?

    Is he confident that his twice-injured shoulder is ready?

    Has he discovered something inside of himself that will now make him ready for Usyk?

    If you want him to fight at heavy, that is a valid position, but can you not phrase it like this was not thought out and your opinion is a forgone conclusion? Can you read and address something that was brought up?

    I agree w/the OP.
    Gassiev competing at SCW (that's what I'm calling it) would be great. If he can win that and looks healthy he can try a shot at the giants.

    Yes it is. It's hardly a coincidence that foreign fighters often improve by a least 20% after sharing a ring with a Brit Level fighter or just from fighting on British soil. Hagler, Usyk, and Loma are three who spring to mind who all improved significantly after fighting on British soil albeit it was when they fought in the amateurs and WSB for the later two.
