Indeed mate. And it's on BT which I get as part of my telly package too - fights like this should be the norm instead of once in a blue moon shouldn't they. Stuck a tenner on Joyce at 3/1, who knows which way it will go but hopefully it's a cracker, properly excited for it.
Got to admit I would be worried with backing either fighter as both very capable of winning. One DDD punch could end it early but it will be very interesting if Joyce is still in there after 4-5 rounds.
This is the biggest test of Dubois career. We will find out whether he has world class power, because if he is able to take Joyce out then that puts him in that bracket. I think a middle rounds TKO will be the outcome. Dubois gets Joyce out of there around rounds 5-8. I think Joyce has the chin to take some bombs early and stand his ground, but eventually gets worn down and stopped. Joyce has a decent set of whiskers on him, and I think this means it is not an early blow out. If he has prepared well and is 100% no way do I see Dubois just running a train on him like he was able to do vs a peak in shape undefeated Gorman.
If Joyce did get stopped, the damage could well be done by a Dubois bodyshot. Not punting on this one, just going to watch and enjoy.
Both in great shape but Joyce engine is proven. I have put some coin on Joyce KO/TKO for decent value.
Thinking of a Frazier Foreman outcome here. As soon as Joyce starts putting the pressure on, he's going to fold like a deck chair. Dubois is grown to Joshua's proportions now. And I think his power has increased aswell.
Does anyone have an idea of the purses for this fight? I reckon it might be a 50/50 split, but not really sure, maybe Dubois has the bigger part.
Joyce is too slow, if Dubois can't negate his offence and put it on him, he's miles away from the top. I reckon Dubois stops Joyce in 9
