    Not everything can be proven, but a number of fighters complained about it when they fought Liston. It seemed to be a standard trick.

    As for Holmes, I can only repeat--he never had a rival because he never gave anyone a chance to be one. Norton never became a great fighter, but that fight could have gone either way, and he might have won a rematch, so...

    Ali by a distance. I never cared much about Holmes, if he'd been around a decade earlier he'd have been an also ran.

    Also. Himself and Angelo Both clamid 6'2" watch him standing with Holmes and Don King and you clearly see a difference in height.

    I have given you 2 passports how many do you want, every other source says 6ft 3, google,wiki, old fight footage more passports with 6ft3 than not, I will go with the consensus of factual information rather than hearsay.

    Holmes was more technical and a little more complete, but Ali was better. I think H2H favors Ali. Holmes in/near his prime had some very tough fights with lesser fighters than the ones Ali had trouble with, and could be timed with the right hand. Ali’s weakness was the left hook. Ali had a better right hand than Holmes had a left hook, and would find Holmes with it pretty often.

    Ali wins a 9-6 type decision
