This was another British hype job imo. I didn't see the power from Dubious.

Yeah, you can read plenty into the sort of things they were saying to him, like they knew they had a job to do to keep him in the game.

Can't be too harsh on it though. His eye was clearly badly damaged, and the final punch landed square on it with force. Plenty of fighters have come back from worse.

 

Yeah it’s his chin, movement and stamina that gives him a shot at world level. That lack of speed makes him tailor made for a counter puncher though. I can’t put my finger on it, he’s just weird to watch.

Crap. But winning crap. One of the biggest misteries of the universe for me is how in hell froch could win all the fights he won (a lot). It's obvious I still have a lot to learn about boxing, until I understad what's the intangible that makes froch such a freaking good fighter (when I see a bum).

 

Ian John Lewis is a disgrace - he should have got the doctor to look at that eye in the previous 2 rounds.

That eye injury was a stoppage long before DDD took the knee

 

Was a good fight shame about the eye but thats boxing. DDD did well and has a bright future he just need to work on head movement to avoid this happening again.

Joyce is going to be a handfull for anyone that is his size of smaller.. Iron chin and rentless with a workrate that doesn't slow..

As to AJ and Fury, will struggle and both are bigger and longer so can get in and out of range.. Joyce is slow with is his downfall..

Usyk 2, speed maybe the issue there too.

Anyone else he will give them trouble..

 

Definitely a quit there like but don’t want to hear Haye going on about it like he didn’t pull out over a bad toe

 

Shows how much heart Inoue has. P4P Donaire is a much harder puncher than Joyce too.
