Everyone believed Warren’s hype and thought that Dubois was a better version of Joshua.

All the accusations that have been levelled at Joshua have just been shown by Dubois very early on in his career. Gas tank / muscles? Quitter? Chin?

I don’t see Dubois reaching world level.

How would a 23 year old Joshua have dealt with Joyce ?

How well would a 30 year old Joshua deal with him ?

It’s irrelevant how a 23 year old Joshua would have dealt with him. After that performance and lack of guts/heart I don’t see Dubois still around the boxing game at the age of 30.

I think a 30 year old Joshua chins that Joyce tonight or would comfortably out point him. Not even competitive.

Bit harsh. At the point of the stoppage the fight was very very close. Had the eye not have been closed perhaps he would have won.

The lads young and very inexperienced. He was rushed along too quickly but i think thats a result of people underestimating joyce more than anything. He was beat narrowly by a 35 yr old olympian. A guy thats quite possibly got the best chin and gas tank in the division and a skilled boxer to boot. Not many will beat joe, dubois did ok he will be back challenging for world titles in time.

We should learn not to write people off so soon. Had ddd stayed on his feet and nicked a decision people would be slating joe as a hype job and dubois would have been the next big thing.

Tony Dosh PPV was humiliated against a little fatty with huge manboobs.

That fight on 1 June 2019 will forever be on sporting comedy clips.

At least DDD lost to a fellow athlete in a 50/50 fight.

Hes young and inexperienced but he wants to call out the big boys and tell them he would knock them out etc. So if you want to be in that circle you can’t run back and hide behind age.

What I seen was a heartless static gassed out juiced up boxer with very little boxing brain give up tonight against a slow and ponderous Joe Joyce.

    Joyce is a snail.
Anyone experienced at top level will beat him.

He is a decent fighter but a chronic lack of speed will be his downfall.
He couldn't throw too many right hands tonight
at top level if his jab doesn't land he is ****ed

Nothing against you at all, but man, 1 loss as a 23 year old against a very good opponent and all of a sudden he's written off for good? No wonder why we see fighters avoiding each other all the time, as 1 loss seems to chuck them to the scrap heap with names being thrown at them such as 'quitter' and 'hypejob' etc.

Dubois will learn more from a fight like that going forward instead of knocking over some randoms from who knows where. He'll come again no doubt, it's only a loss to his name in a fight that came a bit too soon for him against someone who is a major threat to the division.

Plenty of work ons for Dubois, which will do him well going forward.

Joyce was just too experienced for Dubois.

I was surprised to see Dubois as such a favourite even mid fight. I managed to get 9/4 on Sky bet for Joyce after 6 rounds.

As for the comparisons with Joshua, tonight means you can now compare their quits, Joshua vs Ruiz or Dubois tonight. For Joshua’s was far worse, gave up whilst standing in the corner with a smile on his face.

Even Duran said No Mas. And Joyce is a nightmare for Joshua, can jab with him and jab more often.

I don't know myself, Joyce will keep coming all fight and one thing that we did see tonight is that Joyce has a granite chin. He took some massive shots from Dubois.

Eh nobody without the gift of a soothsayer could predict what would come to Dubois tonight..as for anyone believing he was better than Joshua they were bang wrong if they truly were that dense.

The guys inexperienced and underestimated Joyce thats all. He wasnt ready and was found out but that doesnt mean anything, hes young he will
I think he boxed clever, he didnt let his hands go and won the fight with the jab.

He is slow but all the HW have flaws, hes slow but got a great engine, granite chin and good boxing brain. He will do just fine at the top level you'll see.

There is nothing wrong with a fighter believing in himself.
