One defeat against the elite fighter in the division and he is written off yet Tony Dosh PPV could not even clean out the puddings yet given a pass.

Frank Warren has managed him badly just like with Yarde regarding reaching the top. They have both went from fighting English title level guys at best to fighting world class in 1 fight. Bonkers.

The way i see it is "the quittings" not a problem. It was pretty much everything else that was the problem tho. Daniel didnt really have too many ideas in there. Blowing early. Too slow. Hit with the jab the same place a hundred times. Slow upperbody movement. A bit lethargic.

People compare it with david haye but haye was looking terrific against carl thompson that night. Inexperience just done him. Not knowing how to pace a fight against a more experienced guy. If that was the only problem dubois had tonight its no real problem at all. Or its fixable. But tbh hes too stiff...too musclebound to be great. You need more than just power at the top level.

Its not dubois fault tbh considering hes came from nowhere he actually done allright in there tonight. Gave it his best but his big reputation was built on no hopers tbh. Mostly part time fighters trying to take on a full time fighter. Hes got a career there if he wants it cause hes a decent fighter. But unless he gets very lucky or frank guides him to one of his wba titles...his lack of experience and his over reliace atm on muscle/power will only take him so far. A lot to work on...at least now we know where he stands tho. Its about taking that and slowly rebuilding him getting him out at every oppertunity the next few years. That fight tonight will stand him in good stead. Needs a big rebuilding job now tho...basically now needs to learn how to box/fight over the next few years. Knocking over no hopers wont get him there.

Tbh we still dont know how good joe really is imo. Hes better than most of us thought. But how good...i think we,ll find out over the next fight or two. Thats not a dig at him because hes done brilliant so far.

Frank obviously thought like many did that Dubois would have the power to take Joyce out early. He was wrong. Blatantly he wanted Dubois to win.

    That is the issue mate.

Credit to both for taking the fight though.

I like Joyce but I tell you now Wilder would knock him out early. Wilder might not be the same again as his aura has been broken but he would have a very good change against anyone not named Tyson Fury.

Tony Dosh PPV never had the bottle to fight him and I make Wilder s strong favourite to beat The Humble One.

Tyson Fury v Tony Dosh PPV is a mismatch and Fury's most difficult opponent will be Usyk.

Great fight that. Always felt ugonoh would have been a great joshua opponent. Even tho breazeale ended up beating him and joshua beat breazeale without too much trouble. Ugonoh had the assets to really trouble joshua. Dangerous puncher.

Had breazeale all over the place by about the second round. No sure what happened with him tho...think he might of lacked heart/motivation and maybe a bit too light for the heavier guys. But he could have probably been a dangerous fight for better guys than beat him.

Surprised he got it so badly wrong tbh with them sparring together a good few times. Tbf i completely agreed with him pre fight that dubois would take him out earlyish.

My thinking was the only way franks putting dubois in there is if hes lighting joe up in sparring.

Surprised franks risked the fight otherwise.

Glenn McCrory will be part of the team covering Tyson V Roy Jones JR, lets hope he's had a few whiskys to loosen him up
