Your mention of Tommy Gibbons had me thinking back, and we can't leave out Len Harvey.

Tommy Gibbons is a great amongst greats. He definitely doesn't warrant mention here.

I think there is a chance he makes it to the Hall of Fame. He didn't have that long of a title reign but that first win over Jones does help his chances. Too me he needed to win another major belt. Either a win over Dawson or a belt at Cruiserweight/heavyweight.

I agree with you but don't see him mentioned that way too often in recent arenas .. we'll have to get Klompton's approval. ;)

I thought Fabrice Tiozzo was decent as long as he wasn't fighting Virgil Hill, lol. His resume reads better than it was based on when he fought some of these guys, but I thought he has a very good career.

Yeah, Tiozzo wasn't too bad but he caught guys at the right time. Always wondered why he didn't fight Harding, after Jeff had beaten his brother.

It says no greats. Bivins is too good for this one, chief.
