29 Dominic Breazeale 30 Jermain Franklin 34 Tom Schwarz that's the only guys in the top 40 on boxrec I think he'd beat LOL All the 37 others beat him Stick a fork in the big stiff Dubois quitter, He's DONE.
He needs to heal and start at the beginning. He is a long way from done, but he is also a long way from contention. He would be 50/50 against Breazeale, Wach, Ajagba, Kean, Fa, Kuzman, And Jennings, and would beat Schwartz or Franklin.
Would for sure be a favorite against Wach, Zhang, Fa, Schwartz, Kean, Price, Franklin, Breazale, Takam, Bakole, Washington, Jennings and Helenius. Plenty of others that are close or a toss up but this is a joke of a thread.
Eh, I was never on board with Dubois, been calling him a hype job since I laid eyes on him. That being said, I don't view Breazeale, Wach, Ajagba, Kean or Fa anything close to 50/50 fights. The only ones I think would give him problems are Kuzmin and Jennings.
I think Zhang for sure beats him, Zhilei and Joyce are both crazy underrated by semi casuals. (I also bet on Joyce over Dubois, and have not yet made an incorrect bet.)
In fact Dubois would crush most of the boxers from the top 40 except a couple of boxers including, Fury, Joshua, Povetkin, Usyk, Hrgovic, I would say he can beat Hunter and Whyte...
I'd favour Dubois against the following; Schwarz, FA, Breazeale, Kownacki, Franklin, Price, Washington, Fa, Ajagba, Kean, Wallin, Martin,Helenius, Kuzmin, Jennings, Takam, Kayabel, Yoka, Ortiz, Hughie Fury, Zhang, Wilder and Chisora.
Pulev Martin Helenius Washington Bakole Jennings Takam Fa Price Kean Wach Franklin Breazeale Anderson Few more would be toss ups. So yeah, a pretty good chunk of the top 40 actually
Liked the post and understand, but remember that his confidence is shattered and the long term ramifications of that eye are unknown. I think he is going to have a LONG way back, and any fight is going to have some danger.
On saturdays performance i m not sure he beats many of them. Most of these guys are used to taking big shots unlike the guys dubois has knocked out. Fair enough guys like wilders knocked a good few of them out. But wilders powers legit. Even guys like hughie furys took povetkin and parkers shots without too much trouble. Dubois showed he has a lot of holes in his game at the level he was fighting at on saturday. Whst we,ve seen so far is him knocking over no hopers...getting a pretty good win against gorman...running out of ideas against the old heavyweight he fought...and looking quite clueless against joyce. Hardly fills you with confidence taking on a good few of them names. Dubois i reckon could have a good career but he needs fights with guys outside that top 40 for now. The next few years. Hes still a relative novice in the grsnd scheme of things...think ssturday showed that. Got some very good attributes to work with tho. But attributes without proper experience usually lesds to problems down the line agsinst better guys.
