The last thing Riddick Bowe needs is anymore shots to the head.... that would be a crime to allow him in a ring to be hit anymore.
Never going to happen. Lewis loves to tease a possible return but he never actually does it or is ever serious about it. If there truly was unfinished business he would of made that fight already, he knows he'd probably kill Bowe who took far too much punishment in the ring and is easily 100lbs overweight based on how he looked during Fury/Wilder build up.
It does in one very narrow sense make sense, since this is a [pro ranks] fight which should have happened but never did. In every other sense it's a preposterous idea. Riddick is not in any state to get anywhere near a ring. Lewis came out of the sport with both fortune and faculities intact, he's now a rather tubby man in late middle age, even against an addled Bowe it'd be daft for him to get involved.
I don't think Lennox has any sympathy for Bowe at all, and who would resist the fortune of making an easy couple of millions? The problem, however, is that nobody will pay Lennox for that because he doesn't have even 1% of Tyson's charisma
As a tuneup, he could spend an afternoon pulling wings off flies ... seriously, what's the point? Where's the gain? Bowe looks terrible, a fighter who looks much the worse for wear compared to some of his contemporaries. He'd certainly jump at the chance, but that's all the more reason for him to not do it - anyone with a healthy sense of self-preservation would know better. Lennox wants to come back, pick some live game versus someone without a chance ...
Can Bowe tie his shoe laces at this point? Then again Bowe might remember LL standing in front of him in the parade of past HWs leading up to Fury-DW I
