Sorry for not being specific. Vargas is a bum. Mikey can still beat bums. He could probably beat a washed up fighter at 160 but it doesn’t make him a legit MW. Any top Welter would crush him, probably KO him if as long as Mikey doesn’t shell up like he did against Spence and play to not lose. Moral victories don’t get you a belt. Mikey is not a welter and I understand why he’s still trying to get a payday but it’s a failed experiment. Vargas level opponents dont prove anything. Unless Manny gets old fast, Mikey has zero chance against any top WW. Save this post but please do the same for yours. I’m a fan of Mikey and feel he’s getting bad advice. He’s just another undersized regular fighter at 147.

You are saying he will beat top WW’s. Mikey is as delusional as you are. It laughable to hear him chirping for another Spence fight. Did he even win a round the first time they fought? He would probably beat Vargas again but does anyone really want to see it? The money is bigger at WW but I hope this experiment ends soon so we can see Mikey fight at his best weight.

Seriously doubt it but either way, this is not going to end well for Mikey. Any legit WW beats him easily. He knows how to fight and avoid getting KOd against many but that’s not winning.
