If Dubois had the tank, paced himself better and had seen the final bell, he would have been likely to get a SD win.

The scorecards indicate that 2 of the 3 judges were on the Fwank payroll.

    It is style + age

Joyce is ugly to watch yet effective plus at 35 he doesnt have long left in the sport.

Dubois is exciting to watch when he is knocking a certain level of fighter out + is very young.

Obviously a robbery was cooking... Dubois was really static and showed almost no defense, I don't really get it how he would win 7 rounds

Considering his amateur pedigree it does seem Joyce has been really overlooked. I mean he turned pro being promoted by David Haye of all people, I'm guessing all the promoters thought he was too old and like most people only saw a big slow guy who wasn't marketable unlike a young puncher like Dubois who got a ton of hype based of him apparently dropping Joshua in sparring and looking like a physical specimen.

It's nothing new, but, still, Latham shouldn't work again.

In the 'potential meal ticket dubiously outpoints older and/or less marketable opponent' stakes, a say narrow Dubois win wouldn't have been up there with the very worst examples we've seen over the years [e.g. SBW/Botha, Erislandy Lara vs etc], but an 88-83 verdict or whatever it was really was disgusting, risible, shameful, you name it. I can just about accept, maybe, that narrowly awarding very close fights to meal tickets might sometimes just about be in the sport's best interests, but this sort of thing is a personal insult to everyone invlolved.

'''Dubois looks the part. He's the most exciting HW prospect out there. He has the style to be a star. He's the future of HW boxing in this country. He's a future world champion. He sure passes the eye test. He's a spoiled, smug piece of garbage we dressed up in a suit -- I mean, he's a polite but hip young gentleman, fit for commercial sponsorship in the UK dystopia. This is a good test for Daniel. It's Daniel's time to step up. When he wins, he'll fight Usyk for the belt. We believe he has the beating of Usyk. We'd put him in with AJ right now. He could dominate the division for years to come, Daniel could. Gosh he looks the part, doesn't he?''

Suspect the referees that Dubious ahead had to much to drink before the fight.

Plenty of people on here had DuBois leading at the time of the KO. The fight was extremely competitive. The better fighter ended up winning the fight.

It's crazy how it continues, everyone calls bull and judges still have no shame in calling a fraudulent card, again and again...

What's there to say to that kind of corruption when nothing is done whatsoever.
we even had a vid replay last week... And they even shamelessly shunned that.

How much more until folk are held accountable ffs?

It was a even fight but power shots will always score higher that jabs so Dubois was winning most of the rounds. Close fight but definitely no robbery if Dubois would of won.

I thought it was about even going into the 10th.
It could have been 86-85 either way, or something like that.

I got to disagree with you. Dubois work was ineffective, Joyce nullified everything that came his way from Dubois and just went immediately back to doing what he did all through the fight. Better shots would suggest Dubois was taking some control in the fight and causing Joyce some problems. The odd flurry from Dubois made no difference to the pattern of the round, Joyce just did the same thing each round, Dubois never once got him to change his approach. Joyce jab was the quality shot all through the fight.

This. The scoring made sense considering how young Dubois is while Joyce on the otherhand is almost 40.
