I won't speculate on this one. I just wish we had actually gotten to see it instead. This fight could/should have been made.

I'm not sure that GGG stops Froch but I feel like he is the better fighter and would win via decision.

Froch ran his mouth non stop and could have gotten the fight then walked away without a peep.

    Golovkin takes this one.

Froch looked to be in marvellous shape, he could have had it if he'd wanted it - he didn't. Not saying it would have been an easy fight by any means, but often the amount of fight in the dog tells you who's going to win beforehand.

Negative. Froch already had it in his head that he was going to retire before the Groves rematch.
He only left the door open for a big fight with Chavez Jr in Vegas.
He never ran his mouth about any Golovkin. In fact it was Golovkin who kept running his mouth about Froch after he retired. I can post loads of links showing Golovkin and Tom Lolfler calling out retired Froch. They only called him out cos they knew he was never coming back.

Golovkin if he turned pro earlier would never have gone up and fought Froch. We know that given all the potential fights he turned down at 168.
For example Ward and a big Sky PPV against Smith, which Eddie put on the table.
We also know GG hasn't the mustard to throw down the gauntlet against top tier guys to can fight back. Froch would have speared through him with his reach and size advantage.
Froch is like Joe Joyce. Not pretty on the eye, but very effective and hard to beat. GG would have had to go through hell to beat Froch, he's just not prepared to fight that type of fight

Froch who couldnt even beat that clown Dirrell is supposed to beat G lol isnt happening.
G doesnt talk trash maybe his manager did but Froch talked plenty then he shut up and quickly faded into the background.
G smashes Froch any day of the week.

Dirrell fights nothing like Golovkin and you know it.
Froch is more like a bigger and more aggressive Danny Jacobs.
He has a much better jab and a much longer reach. ONCE GG has his jab taken away it would be all downhill from there.
FrochS resume craps all over Golovkins. Not opinion. FACT

No you are wrong. He calls people good boys and claimed Canelo was a fake Mexican.
He ran his little mouth about Froch long after he retired, even offering him a new nose. He would never have made those utterances if Froch was active.

G didn't say a word til Froch was trashing him left and right. G as you noted above kept it very respectful in what little he said unlike big mouth Froch. Prime G beats him from pillar to post and that's all I have to say on it as you obviously disagree and I'm not one to go back and fourth all day. This is how I stand on it case closed.

No , you don't know what you're talking about. I followed Froch's career very closely , you obviously didn't. Its a fact he was planning on retiring before he beat Groves the second time. He was only going to fight again if he could have a send-off in Vegas against Chavez who at the time was a bigger name than GGG.
GGG was not a big name or a big money fight at the time. The Chavez fight never happened and he retired without ever bad mouthing GGG.
GGG started calling out Froch to give himself a reputation. He knew the fight was not happening. The only thing Froch said in response to GGG repeatedly using his name was "too big / too strong"

You are posting biased fanboy induced gibberish that not even based in reality. Reality shows he couldn't come close to beating Canleo and Jacobs from pillar to post. The same reality dictates he wouldn't do it to Froch. If realty proves he wouldn't take a fight with Callum Smith , it proves he wouldn't have taken a fight with Carl Froch either. Golovkins resume at 168 is 0-0-0 for a reason. He didn't want to mix it with the big boys

He kept randomly banging on about that is anybody wanted to see it. Nobody wanted to see him box Chavez Jr. He just wanted an easy finish, with a good pay day, in a venue of his choice.
