If he comes back his heart will be tested again and he can redeem himself.
    But Saturday he did quit.

It took a lot of punishment to make a champion quit in those days though.
    One bad eye ? Pffft.

    I agree.
Every human being has the right to quit and walk away at any time, but if we're to judge good champions against bad ones, quitting cannot be acceptable for a good one.

No one nation or tribe dominates boxing. To say that does not correlate with reality.

Great Britain is to boxing what Brazil, Germany and Italy are to football combined.

He just got beat up by a tough more experienced guy. He is only young, he will be back. One loss should not destroy a mans career.

That is clearly not true at all and the statistics prove. On that basis the USA is the greatest boxing nation in the world bar none and the best fighters come from the mid west USA. As my friend Uncle Roger Mayweather of blessed memory use to say “take a great fighter in history and check when they lost invariably it was to a fighter from the mid west”.

I'm not talking about a time when boxing was an American regional sport and there was only a handful of pros from other countries competing in it who didn't even take training seriously. I'm talking about 2020 when Boxing is a global sport. The clock has been reset and the fact of the matter IS that the tiny island of Great Britain is the dominant force in world boxing NOW and it's only a matter of time before we annex all the divisions like we have the sport's glamour division.

Let me relay something a very wise old owl told me once upon a time many moons ago, Olu.

He said there are four types of people in this world: Sheep, Shepherds, and wolves. Most people are sheep or wolves but very few are shepherds.

But Serge, you only mentioned three types there not four.

    So what's the fourth type?

People like myself and said wise old owl: Shepherds who were raised by wolves and we are the rarest of breeds.

 I'm no fan of sheep. I round them up to feed to my wolf brethren.

Anyway to be serious the UK is a respectable boxing nation but to say it dominates is plain wrong.

Britain was always a major player in boxing.
    Boxing is from England.
Boxing has been a global sport for about 100 years.

It's great that Fury and Joshua are the top two heavyweights now, that's a high point in British heavyweight boxing, but Daniel Dubois was British champion, defending his Lonsdale belt, so we haven't come so far in that regard because, frankly, that was quite a weak way to lose the title.
