Agree with most of this other than arguably winning, was clearly losing.

The most worrying thing for me was the fact he didn’t know how to nullify Joyce’s jab.

Dubois has a decent chin and power so there is plenty more out there. All the weekend showed for me is that you can largely nullify him with a decent game plan. He’s very one dimensional. But same goes for Dillian Whyte and he’s done well for himself, Dubois is more naturally gifted for me.

If as boxing fans we want to see unbeaten fighters risking their record, we shouldn't then hang the loser out to dry. Critique and analysis is fine, but hyperbole and sweeping statements really don't help the sport.

Yes, the fight was a setback for Dubois and raised some question marks, but it's not like no heavyweight has ever come back from losses; not just Joshua, but the two dominant heavyweights of the last two decades (Lewis and Wlad) came back from multiple bad defeats.

This doesn't happen in MMA, or at least not to the same extent. We reap what we sow in that regard.

Fair enough you can laugh at AJ, people can laugh at Dubois aswell - shaking in the corner because an opponent dared to punch back, pretty funny.

We're absolute beasts in building fighters up only to break them down again. It's boxing, it's sport, losing is not the end of the world. Instead of endless abuse we should get behind our fighters for a change.

This Matchroom vs Queensberry is getting tiresome.

Huge credit for both taking what was a dangerous fight for both and for Frankie Warden sticking this on BT Sport without a crowd.- we need to see more of this.

Genuine 50/50 fights that get the public interested in boxing.

Look at the stale pay per pudding next week for another example of the shyte on offer most weeks

Would’ve been a 50/50 fight if Dubois hadn’t quit with a broken heart, happy to dish it out to no hopers but when the going gets tough Dubois quickly exits the ring.
