O’sullivan won his 6th world title this year at the age of 44. And he didnt have a magic cue that pots all the balls for him like hamilton does in F1

That is true about the event but there is no need to disrespect the other nominees. Just say you're in training and dont go.

BBC Sports Personality of the Year is a redundant competition by one of the scumiest corporations in existence.

That and the fact people don't realise the "personality" part does not denote personality, but denotes "person". They should rename the award "BBC Sportsperson of the Year" to avoid the same old arguments every year with people piping up with "but he's got no personality!"

I haven't seen where he's disrespected anyone else. Where the show is concerned I suspect he wanted to signal just a little of the contempt he felt for it after all the nonsense awhile ago about his inclusion. I don't actually mind a bit of snide or edginess in a boxer. There's enough beige in the world as it is.

Anyway I'll leave it there as I actively try and avoid anything with SPOTY in it. As said above, when it was a chance for David Vine and co to relive some of the years sporting highlights and laugh at the dress sense of various golfers and rugby players it was actually a decent watch. The current monstrosity is the mother lode of bobbins and nothing to do with sport or why we watch it. May it slip from the schedules and never be heard from again.

Nothing wrong with being a bit edgy. Going on an unhinged rant about gay people and Jewish people is probably not a good idea though. He got shunned because of that so he's got some front turning his back on them. Perhaps he'd like to field questions as to why he was rejected first time around, seeing as he's never addressed it?

He wasn't rejected. He was selected. Many members of the public (I'm presuming you are one of them) started a petition to have him removed. He wasn't removed. You were only slightly wrong...

    You presumed wrong.

So what's he crying about then?

I think it probably has more to do with not wanting a whole heap of totally unnecessary BS about his previous life in the press, and loads of press intrusion until the 'competition' is over.

I have no idea. I'm not his mouthpiece.

I wouldn't say that anybody who requests to be removed from the list is "crying" - that's an odd assumption to make. I wouldn't want anything to do with the BBC, or the monarchy either. Are people who decline a knighthood or "honour" crying, too?

Seems you've taken my words a little too literally. My (obvious) point is, what's his beef? He's been on the show before, wonder why his knickers are in a twist this time.

Forgive me for not knowing that you meant something different. Nothing to do with your poor grasp of English, or backtracking.

Says Tyson Fury was rejected previously > wasn't.

Says Tyson Fury is "crying" by asking to be removed > doesn't mean to say he's crying (i.e. whining), but simply asking why he's asked to be removed.

    All right.
