The point is incredibly easy to grasp if you're not willingly pedantic. I asked why he's crying about being nominated, in other words 'what is his problem with the BBC?'. Obviously he has one, otherwise he wouldn't ask to be excluded. A pretty big one too, given his request.

But you're clearly the wrong person to be asking because you're not his mouthpiece (but are very defensive of him on an obscure internet forum).

 

All a bit odd really, don’t think he’s done himself many favours posting that video/statement, seems a bit pathetic and over dramatic. Like others have said, just don’t turn up for it if you’re not bothered

 

I’ve never really understood why sportsmen want to win a phone vote so badly, and the expectation that they will be involved and see it as a big honour is pure arrogance. Especially from a broadcaster with a **** poor sports selection. This isn’t a great way of showing you don’t care though, it would be best to just pretend it’s not happening.

Years ago Tyson was nominated shortly after saying gays are going to hell. Greg Rutherford asked to be excluded that year as his sister is LGBT though was eventually persuaded to go.

 

I would pay good money to see somebody land one on Linekar.

I hope this isn't the case, but I wonder whether this year has been difficult for TF. All the uncertainty about the Wilder fight, the late cancellation of the tick over in December.. Tyson says himself that routine and working towards a goal is how he keeps himself on the straight and narrow. Uncertainty isn't fantastic for that.

It's clear he's training from social media - but I did think this video was unusual..

Hopefully the AJ fight gets sorted out soon and we see them both at their best in April/May next year. Hopefully with a crowd.

 

SPOTY is a load of bollocks anyway and not surprised that he's done this.... he should've won it 5 years ago after going to Wlad's back yard and bringing home the titles but he was shunned.

If Fury isn't in it and someone is to win it, then it should be Ronnie...... someone with an actual personality as well.
