6'5" AJ is 6'6" Wilder is 6''7" Fury on his best day is 6'8" & not a fraction more (His reach however is like that of an orangutan)

Holy **** thank you for that. It seems gerry cooney got shorter because of age as him and larry holmes were about the same height in this photo so he probably was 6'6 in his prime or at least 6'5 and a half
When you're 6'6" the difference an inch makes is very negligible. If this thread was talking about bantamweights then sure, You can notice an inch pretty well but not with heavyweights. At that height you're going to sleep an inch shorter than you wake up from spinal compression alone,
Probably 6'4. My advice after noticing phoney heights in sport for many years (exposed when one or more phoney heights come head to head): Just take 2 inches off any heights over 6' and it will be about right, particularly if they're being branded as giants/monstrous. Take 1-1.5 inches off of listed heights below 6' and that will be about right, unless they are very small in which case take 2 inches off. There are always exceptions who actually list their correct height. Groves might be one of those. The clue is that he could have just listed 6'+ to make it sound better, but he lists 5'11 and a half. There's no reason to do that unless you're being honest.
Professional wrestling was always known for exaggerating heights and weights. Ivan Koloff (who was really Canadian!) was listed as 6'1" but was really 5'8" at best. Guy was a physical specimen though and had a Mike Tyson-like physique.
This belongs in the classic forum, but if Holmes was a legit 6'3 Cooney was probably a legit 6'6 or just about. He looked about 6'4½ against Holmes in spots because of his stature. He leaned forward a lot so when Cooney stood straight up against Holmes from time to time looked HUGE. He was listed as 6'5 in some fights but he looked slightly taller than that
Foreman has never seen 6'4'' in his life. He was always 6'3'' 190.5cm possibly 191cm at the most. Heavyweight heights are particularly inflated, though there are some exceptions (within half an inch, say). At the top just now, Joshua, Wilder, Usyk, Joyce are all legitimate. Fury is overlisted by around 5cm, Whyte same, Lucas Browne around 4cm overlisted, Parker 3cm over, Ruiz 5cm over, Gassiev is not taller than Usyk, H. Fury 4cm over and so on and on.
