He would also jump at the chance to sign Dubois and Yarde even after these defeats still. He would kill for Yarde and would put him on Joshua’s undercards.

I personally enjoyed it. Wasn’t exciting but thought it was interesting particularly because it was so blatant that Yarde needed to make it harder for Arthur to move out the left but Tunde didn’t give him any advice on that.

I’d like to see a rematch because it would be a different fight IMO.

Yarde clearly thinks he is Toney but without the ring IQ. The amount of times during the fight he followed Arthur around like a lost puppy instead of closing him down and putting him under effective pressure was unreal. The kid may have fast reflexes against cans but let's be honest he hadn't got it.

I saw that and I think Pat is just covering for Arthur. Arthur himself immediately post fight denied hurting his hand and said he just couldn’t land it. Even in the corner Arthur said “I can’t land it”. Who says that about a hurt hand? Like I said above he was blocking Yarde’s punches with his right hand throughout and if his hand was hurt that would have been agony.

Isn't it strange on this board. People believe what the want to based on their narrative. In this case Arthur did not hurt his hand because it does not fit the narrative irrespective of whether his trainer said so or not.

On that basis, Wilder either has been cheated or he is a sore loser. Fury either is a drug cheat or he simply ate wild boar. Mayweather cheated against Pacman or Pacman cheated against Mayweather.

In all cases, we will ignore the information which does not fit our narratives and proceed unabated with our chosen viewpoint. Instead, try to look at the facts in an unbiased manner however most will choose to ignore that.

I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about this when in the post fight interview ARTHUR himself admitted he had not hurt his hand and just couldn’t time it on Yarde. Go and watch the post fight interview again. What does Arthur have to gain by saying that if he has actually hurt his hand?

Your saying that people are forming their own narratives... No, I’m going by what the fighter himself has said immediately post fight.

Fire Tunde and let go of your hands for Yarde. A rematch most likely being made anyway, for me, it wasn't that close but good money and another fight for them both again. It will be interesting to see how the WBO works out their belt, cool to see either fight for it after presumably Smith/Salamov get to it then a first defence for the winner of this 'supposed' rematch. I'm sure Frank can work it out.

Will be interesting as Arthur will now likely be on the cusp of mandatory along with Vlasov. At 29 I wouldn’t be going into the rematch with Yarde if I’m number 1 in those ranking. Would sit tight and take my shot. The Yarde rematch would still be there if he didn’t win the belt and if he did win it then his payday just went up to mega money

Two options block the punch with your hurt hand or take it on your chin. Most would stick that hand up. You can Bob duck and weave but without blocking with your hand you are still open to taking a few off a power puncher.

there was no way Arthur fought like that out of choice.

Yardes wasted his career with Mr motivator tunde. Natural talent and Shouting and barking is ok against cans but when you step up you need to have proper training. He should have fecked tunde off after the kovalev fight and if he doesnt now its career over. It may be too late for him anyway.

You would have figured after the Kovalev fight ,Yarde and Tunde would have learned from the mistakes they made in camp and made the necessary changes.

Repeating the same mistake again was obviously a conscious choice.

It's one thing losing to seasoned world champion in an exciting fight but another losing to a one armed Lyndon Arthur in a sleep fest.

Yarde has a tougher road back than DDD.

What a week for Warren , Hearn must be over the moon that he no longer wants to meet up.

Very disappointed with Yarde's performance it was a very close fight and be honest I had Yarde winning by 1 round, but for him not able to beat Arthur who only fought with 1 hand is a terrible result, his corner even told him Arthur wasn't throwing the right hand, not sure what's next for Yarde.

Hard to think of anything but underhand tactics when it happens on such a regular occurrence.

Totally forgot the fight was on TBH, but that is a body blow for Frank and his stable.
