Whyte claims he doesn't need to change anything and he beats povetkin 9/10 times. I personally dont believe this
Whyte spews nonsense out of his cake hole the same way everytime. It’s ok though as I speak fluent Dillian Whyte. Roughly translated it means: Sasha is getting older, I’m sure I’ve got it this time guys....guys?!?
that's the wrong attitude for a guy like Whyte who's really proven nothing in his career so far other than he's a big tough guy with a decent punch. Povetkin set up Whyte perfectly for the ko it wasn't a fluke.
Whyte was beaten black and blue by Povetkin in 4 rounds, his right eye had started to swell. Povetkin was dropping heavy bombs on Whyte's head and body and hurting him. Although everybody says Whyte won the 4 rounds, he was hurt by Povetkin seriously. He would probably lose his right eye until round 10. I think Povetkin will win the rematch with another KO if he fights more cautious.
Whyte had too much respect for Povetkin's recovery abilities He said pre-fight he didn't care to jump on him when he is hurt because he is dangerous This is correct for many fighters but not a shot worn Povetkin, he had time to get on top of him and not risk anything but didn't. That uppercut was a thing of beauty, one of the nicest punches I've ever seen. Whyte should not be concerned. If your opponent is hurt they'll hold ground or retreat...the moment Povetkin starts coming forward again which is what he did all fight long is when you back off. Whyte should know this, killer instinct, something Whyte should have plenty of.
Same result for me i'm afraid, old Pov just knows a little too much for Whyte. And to be fair, Whyte fought with extreme caution first time around, how will he be next time knowing this guy just sparked his lights out, the guy was asleep before his legs decided they no longer work.
Povetkin is elite, good for Whyte to have confidence but I have no doubt he will be worried about going toe to toe with Povetkin again. Honestly another highlight reel knockout could be in the books but I suspect will be a 12 round cautious fight from Whyte.
If Povetkin wins again, then I doubt they give him a crack at the title. He will get once again, another "eliminator".
Spencer Fearon called it a long time ago. Whyte is ignorant and his "I am a bad man" attitude will keep getting him chinned over and over again. He reminds me of my 70 year old Jamaican neighbour who is always angry......even when things are going well he is still angry.
ofcourse. Hunter outboxes the **** out of povetkin and povetkin gets gifted whyte. Hunter set on the backburner. LOL.
Although i might get some hate. It wont be something crazy if whyte beats povetkin in the rematch. He was actually outboxing povetkin for the majority of the fight but made the mistake of allowing povetkin to get up close. If he fixes that mistake and doesn't take any risks to trade with Povetkin the chances of him winning are sort of decent. But he must respect povetkins power to the max. Whytes attitude makes me think he's going to do the opposite
Povekin hits him with the overhand right off the left-uppercut feint. "Down goes Whyte! Down goes Whyte!"
Povetkin's pedigree and ring IQ got him through the fight and the victory. This is something Whyte never will have. I used to be a big fan but his attitude lately has turned me away from him.
