Come to think of it breidis was stripped over the controversy in the glowacki fight and the mandated rematch.

So now that glowacki cant fight temporarily doesnt that mean they should postpone the title match to accommodate the fighter they vacated the belt for? None of this makes any sense. I guess they figure they can collect a sanction fee now and then guarantee glowacki the fight vs the winner?

Briedis should replace Glowacki and elbow the siht out of the octopus for trying to strangle Briedis.

I don't think Okolie vs Briedis will happen.
Eddie does know that Briedis will steamroll Okolie if he will be in good shape.
He is too experienced and too strong for him to manhandle in clinch, he does have best clinch game in CW division top.
Briedis most likely will octopus him not wice versa.

Second reason is $, not likely he will agree to fight Okolie for peanuts and maybe even will not wish to get another CW tittle if there is not enough money for fight.
He is annoyed with this stuff: like he is just guy from small country.
Not likely he also eddie might convince sign him casual eddie fight contracts with his guys. like Povetkin vs Whyte, eddie might forget this.

I think he fought savon twice, first he was stopped early, totally outclassed. Second was a lopsided points loss where he was rocked a lot

I was one of them. I thought CBS definitely won and that KD the referee called in Riakporhe's favour should never have been counted because it was a shove.

Most on here felt Massey beat him too and once again he had a completely bogus KD scored in his favour.

He beat Hyde fair and square but he was very fortunate because Hyde was well ahead and schooling him prior to the ref waving it off due to the eye injury.

I dunno think he is so interested in belts.
He then most likely gladly agreed to fight vs Glovacki again but he was under contract with WBSS and Dorticos had rights to have him in next Briedis fight in the ring.
Briedis not likely value belts more than money.
He did not paid fees for one from belts and therefore after defeating Huck get he had get only one belt. For him looks this was enough.

The fight itself being canceled isn't the worst thing in the world for obvious reasons but unfortunately probably means that LO gets a sure belt put on him fighting some stiff. That scumbag doesn't deserve a world title.

Glowacki has already been the recipient of a violent assault in the ring, I guess he wasn't in the mood for an assault of a different nature.:sisi1 It's totally understandable why he'd drop out.

The poor Okolipus is forever on the prowl for someone to play grab ass and stinkfinger with.

Sadly for him, most professional boxers don't fancy the idea of being digitally probed.

Glowacki get just light polite lesson that Briedis is not Vlasov.

I think that he gladly arriwed if not this coronaviruse.

Octopus most likely 99% clinched and held him, 1% boxed.

Lol, so boring card: A.J vs Pulev, despite they are interesting to watch, too predictable fight: A.J will defeat Pulev.
    Next big fight: Octopus:bump:bump:bump:ibutt:ibutt:ibuttfight.

Looks like Nikodem Jezewski got the gig. As of the WBO's current top 15 rankings he's not included but Hearn has petitioned them to bump him up and make it for the vacant title (which he suspects they won't) or for the interim belt if not. He said they went down the top 15 list and everyone they offered the fight to either wasn't ready with just a weeks notice of turned it down. He said Cieslak wanted way more than Glowacki was due to get.

He looks fairly decent but he's only stopped 9 of his 19 victims and quite a few of the guys he didn't stop have been stopped multiple times

    He did drop Cieslak though
