I agree that Parker is readible but at least not as slow as Chisora or Whiterspoon.
Chisora was slow, I was surprised how easily predictable actions he did, also slow.
Parker might improve his close game and clinch game. If ref will not protect Usyk from holding and clinching, then why not?
Usyk doesn't likes clinches, if he managed look decently with some CW guys there, vs Briedis he even had fall down when this a bit just at little hold and rotated him. Good luck for him that later then had another gameplan not to maul him.

Parker is heavier and might use his weight vs Usyk there.

Parker is big but also fast

His biggest problem is his lack of quality bouts in the last 2 years - so he is slowly being forgotten.....

Parker might had benefited if guys like Klitshkos still were active.
    Ofc not funny.
He looks soft in clinches, it is not like Huck, not alone Briedis or guys like Fury.
Usyk is good in in - out game and he does have good jab, it was best jab in first WBSS series.
CW division likes me a lot because these guys more frequently does have close matchups, not predictable fights.

Parker plateaued in abilty around the Joshua/Whyte fights IMO. I just can't envisage any improvements. Usyk would cruise to a clear UD. As stated, Parker's paltry reach wouldn't pose any threat to Usyk and his speed, although decent for a HW, probably isn't enough of an attribute.

Parker only plateaued then because those were the last big "names" that he fought.

He is 28 - and still seems hungry. At his age, taller Samoans grow stronger every year. He is one of those.

    We will see....

Tough fight for USyk but i think USYK should outwork parker for the decision.

It's not who he's been fighting that's the problem it's his skill set. Since his last loss nothing has changed, he hasn't improved one iota, still doesn't counter punch, still starts off every combo with a jab etc. Doesn't matter if he does get stronger as he ages it's his skills that are deficient not talent.

If he's to ever break this plateau he needs to switch trainers he'll never be able to compete with the top guys now his styles been figured out. Usyk isn't going to lose to such a limited fighter. I like Parker but he's stagnating as a boxer and wasting his talent.

Why is everyone trying to fast track Parker? Let the guy develop his pro game with these journeymen and in a few years talk about elite opponents. No need to rush the guy.

usyk ran like a scared child against Chisora....
of course his fans will say I just dont aporeciate his style cause I dksab, but of course then they will go and bash Mayweather for supposedly doing the same thing...

i know parker is considered a smaller HW so may be Usyk will plant his feet and fight him like a man...if he does we may get an interesting match.

if Usyk continues to fight the way he did against Chisora, i dont know anyone who will continue to pay to see him fight again.

He's 28 in his prime and already been at the top level but the real problem is he is not developing. It's been 2 years since his last loss and he's only had 3 fights and looked the same in everyone, nothing new, nothing added to the skill set.

At some point you have the realise this is it, this is the best version of Parker we'll ever see. I'm not there yet but I'm not hopeful, he has clear talent and if he had someone that could give him the tools to utilise his gifts he could again be a title contender but right now I am not holding out much hope for him.

He is not overrated. He is average and most people think he is average.
