And it was a time when other sports weren´t as popular as they are now.

    This.

People are overlooking how many teenage girls and boys tuned into this fight.

Mike needs stacked undercards to draw in more casuals.

Have to say though, with a tiny budget, Triller marketed and promoted this fight exceptionally well. Puts DAZN to shame

Mike is still a draw. That is the about the same number of viewers on Nat Geo's Shark Week featuring Iron Mike.

    The commercials were the best.

I am torn on this. Happy for Tyson and RJJ to earn a paycheck, happy for charity money. But in a sense it was a circus act that had little to do with professional boxing and yet this is what people are willing to pay for. I completely understand it, but I find it leaves an aftertaste.

Last year the two you tubers fetched comfortably over 1m PPV buys for their headline event (mainly US buys) There’s no doubt having him on the card helped with sales.

Tyson has all the old fans and a new generation of tokers through his weed involvement.
I don't think there's many people on the planet of all ages that don't know who Mike tyson is.

 Mike's still a draw but no one's tuning in to see Roid anymore. He's such a nonfactor these days that even the rooster fights he stages on his ranch are a complete no-show apart from him and his roosters lol
