I think Fury is awful for Wlad and would beat him 8/10

Fury never won an actually “fight” against Wlad it was an utter travesty to watch and he still ran from a rematch.

Yes , he too skilled , too big and too elusive. Klitschko is too stiff , not loose enough , doesn't throw in combinations and has no inside skills.

Fury would always beat Wlad the same way Usyk would always beat Murat Gassiev.

Plus , Fury was pre-prime and inexperienced when he beat Wlad. . He hadn't fought a single championship level round going into the fight which was fought on Wlads turf with Wlads own favorable ref. Still outboxed him

Klitschko used excessive holding to prevent Fury from working inside. Weeks deducted a point from Fury for hitting Wlad as he turned his back from the combat

Fury has every advantage except punching power, Fury decides to move, he would always make Klitschko not let his hands go because Klitscko does not like to punch with people, he likes to fight at his pace and control the distance and certainly would be doing either of those against Fury, Klitschko cannot set up punches and move in the way you have to to beat good taller fighters, I'm not talking the likes of Wach because yes he had the height and reach over Klitschko, but he wasn't using it, he was fighting like a smaller fighter with slow feet so Klitschko was able to box his usual fight, controlling the fight with his lead left and setting up long rights, Wach also wasn't press, Fury had foot movement and used his height and reach, Fury would just jab and move and klitschko couldn't just tee off because Fury wasn't standing there so when Fury would jab, Klitschko couldn't reply because Fury wasn't there and Klitschko wasn't willing willing to force the fight, he couldn't box with so he wasn't going to win and even if Klitschko decided to force the fight, he can't do it in the right way against a taller fighter, he doesn't close the range quick and throw bodyshots or punch with opponents which is what you have to do to beat Fury, Klitschko wanted to just box on the outside with Fury and it was obviously never gonna work, that's probably because of the losses to Purrity, Brewster and Sanders that Klitschko doesn't like to punch with people and likes to fight at a slow pace and clinch whenever they get inside

I assume prime Wlad would be when he dominated the heavy division mid-late 2000's. I wouldn't go as far to call Brewster and Sanders bums but they did help expose Wlad's paper-mache chin which ultimately created the ultra-defensive hiding behind his jab boring robotic Wlad that also dominated the division.

David Haye was a horrible fight, if you can call it that both afraid to do anything. The Povetkin fight Wlad should of had multiple points taken away for holding or even dq'd Povetkin was robbed.

I have great respect for Fury, I think he is the best of a poor division, ring IQ is brilliant.

Wilder wouldn't of even got to Wlad's chin, Wlad would of shown him what a jab looks like and peppered him to death, but if you wanna argue Fury getting up from Wilder's shot, which was in itself one of the greatest moments in heavyweight history, he still let probably one of the least talented heavies to ever hold a belt spark him out twice, he made Wilder look like an 8 year old novice and still managed to get caught twice. Agreed if Wilder caught Wlad on the chin, Wlad ain't getting up for a week but he's only catching young reckless Wlad, I doubt he even catches old and slow Wlad. Fury doesn't have Wilder's power, he did have better power when he was reckless himself and punching himself into the face but he ironed out his skills uses his height efficiently and doesn't commit as much became more cautious so lost that bit of power.

Prime Wlad beats Fury 7/10 times imo.
Fury can still get into his head and cause havoc on the inside. Prime Wlad is too quick, accurate and powerful on the outside even with the height and reach disadvantage, if Wilder can set up his one trick pony, Wlad can set up his hook with ease.

Fury literally landed 1-2 punches more a round. Let's not pretend that anything decisive happened in something more akin to nelson-deleon than anything else. Almost 2x as many punches were thrown in Haye-Klitschko. They were at least trying. Povetkin was knocked down 3x. Yes, there is a difference.

This. It's the usual story. Age is a thing. I love how, for example, Mayweather fans were incredulous when boxing non-entity McGregor took the first 4 rounds off their hero. They made up some narrative about Floyd carrying him. No. PBF got old. Simple as.

This too. We were expecting Wlad to KO Jennings. His performance was pretty poor. I wrote it off as a poor night out. But it's clear that his imperious dominance was deflating, in hindsight.
