More looking forward to the new division Super Bridger Weight which will fill the gap between Bridger and Heavy..
Wouldn't it be hilarious if Kudryashov ended up winning a "World title" after the train wreck his career has been over the last five years? Anyway, no one for me here. I was hoping for Povetkin, Hunter, or Gassiev. I'll pass on this crap. How are active cruisers getting below the 200 pound limit on here? How is Rivas ranked coming off a loss? Bull****.
On one hand, its such a laughable, shameless joke by the clownshow that is the WeBeCrooks. On the other hand, you know, theres quite a few fun fights to make out of that list though. If some of those fights happen, and give these C squad guys a chance at semi 'meaningful' fights in fun matchups, well at least thats a silver lining.
Bridgerweight is for men who love getting punched hard but hate money. That's the list, that's what those guys are about.
Oscar Rivas who is coming off a loss and hasnt had a win in 2 years is your number 1 contender ladies and gentlemen
Did they just randomly bump up some cruiserweights to the new weight class? Hey, you want a title shot? Yeah, go move up in weight, and get punched in the face by one of the hardest hitting heavyweights aka Oscar Rivas.
Wait, since Merhy was the WBA interim champ, he wasn´t ranked by the WBC at all Now he is their nr 2 contender in a weight class he doesn´t compete at. Once again, they are over complicating it all. They should have just taken the smaller WBC heavyweight contenders and gone with that.
CW guys doesn't maintain weight and cut so high percentage of weight like in smaller divisions. Still, the same Lerena, Dorticos, Okolie etc etc. CW dude without water cut for weight in not rarerly weights >200lbs. Other things why weight reduces during training camp too must be considered. Easily xx CW dudes might compete in this <225 lbs division. The same Dorticos, Tabiti etc dudes too ofc.
Might be true, but its still super confusing as to why they picked some random Cruiserweights and some heavyweights. Hell, the nr 2 guy wasn't even ranked by the WBC beforehand.
God knows. If boxer pay fees he is ranked by boxing org. Boxing orgs does have their own rankings. WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO rankings. it is true. CW dudes weight walking around usually is in intervals 190-220 lbs approx like this. After camps usually lesser than walking around, then pre fight period. Some doesn't cut anything because they doesn't have extra weight to reduce. Ie 190-199 lbs he already is. Some dudes are 205-210 or a bit more and then they cut weight. 225 lbers walking around are rarity in CW, yeah. LHW division does have a lot of dudes that are 188-195 lbers . weight in limit 175 lbs.
Just a matter of time before WBA join in the fun. They will create their near infinite list of interim/gold/regular/super titles. You've just got to laugh or you will cry.
