This guy is a complete chancer. What a fraud. He has brainwashed Yarde and unfortunately, the kid cannot see it. Stamina for Sale Ltd is a complete joke. Yarde is basically his meal ticket, which is almost nearing its end. Frank Warren needs to have a word.

It really annoyed me that quite a few on this forum were so deluded and were defending him and Yarde once the kovalev fight was announced.

Glad this hype train has been derailed

He comes across as a 12 year old at times on that podcast.

Do you think that one day Yarde will wake up and realise it takes more than a positive mental attitude to get in behind a jab?

One day I am sure he will realise that he has been duped by a conman. I hope for his sake it is not too late, as he definitely has a lot of raw boxing talent which a real trainer could really work with.

From Warren's point of view. Drag Anthony aside, get him to IBox or Peacock or something

Let's be fair if he annoys Tunde then he might lose promoting Mohammed Bilal Ali. So hardly a huge deterrent

Turde by name Turde by nature.

I think Yarde is an ok lad and could be with the right direction a decent at least euro level fighter. But he has been terribly mismanaged and as the op suggests, he's been effectively brainwashed.

I found it slightly worrying that Yarde didn't seem overly bothered about losing. Same as Dubois to an extent.

A young Fury or Joshua would've taken a defeat like the one Yarde/Dubois had very badly.

I would be suprised of Yarde changes his team. They have come a long way together and created a siege mentality.

Somebody I know says all he has seen them do is pad work and cardio, never seen sparring and it's all very casual. He said it just reminded him of a normal gym session.

    I'm surprised by your observation.

I thought he looked like he took it very badly indeed with his ridiculous rhetoric in the post-fight interview and in the post fight interview I seen on YouTube. Even when Arthur was announced as the winner, he didn't have the decency to have any grace. He was completely in denial and coming out with all sorts of nonsense.

The guy's a clown, just like Ajayi.

I don’t get the impression that Yarde is so simple minded, that he would allow himself to be brainwashed by Tunde. I think they are close and he believes in him and both of them have to a certain degree came up operating outside the usual methods. Yarde started boxing late, didn’t really go through the junior or AMs and went pro. Tunde went off to America and worked with the Mayweather’s etc before coming back with this system that he uses, which most people seem to mock and others like myself like some parts of it and not other parts.

For example, I like the general technics that he teaches, with the quick pull counters etc that Yarde throws which when he does well, looks beautiful. However, Tunde is a PR disaster and I can understand how he can rub people up the wrong way.

Interms of Tunde’s performance as a Manager for Yarde, from a financial point of view , he alongside Warren have done an excellent job for Him. They were able to manoeuvre him into a 7 figure payday against Kovalev, using a path which offered him the least resistance possible.

Now for the public it was pretty ridiculous and Yarde didn’t have the experience to equip him to deal with the huge jump in class, but at the end of the day, unless Anthony does something silly with his money, he should be able to retire tomorrow, brains intact and live very well with his family which is something most fighters don’t achieve.

Going immediately forward, Yarde doesn’t need to throw Tunde away completely to beat the likes of Lyndon Arthur. I think most agree he is the far better fighter and he lost due to poor tactics and awful corner work interns of Tunde not telling him the fight was close etc. With a minor adjustment, Yarde will win the rematch, but I also think it would be beneficial if somebody like a Jimmy Tibbs as he did for Joyce could work the corner on fight night to help out. Whether Tunde can accept that, is the question and one which I think Yarde should consider is key if they are to have a positive future together.

Mccracken allowed AJ to bring in help after losing to Ruiz, Tibbs the other week with Joyce and Caldwell came into the work the corner for Whyte, so Tunde should recognise that.

However, moving forward to bigger fights that’s when Yarde should consider whether Tunde can take him to the next level, I have my doubts, buts let’s see.

Yarde is just as big a fool as Tunde. I'm not having it that he's been brainwashed. He's his own man and he's an adult. He behaves like a complete fool when it comes to training, sparring, fighting in the ring and media relations.

If you've ever listened to one of Yarde's interviews, you'll know that all he says is the following, ad infinitum.

"Hi Anthony, can you explain why you've done no sparring at all for the last 5 years?"

"ha ha ha listen its all lions in the camp. my time is now to shine, its destiny, its destiny, its meant to be. **smoulder smoulder smug shrug of his shoulders**"

"Ok... What about the rumours that all you do in the gym is cardio. Are they true?"

"Listen ha ha ha ha, it's written in the stars for me. I will be world champion. Lions in the camp **smoulder smoulder smug shrug of his shoulders**"

    "Thanks Anthony."

You have to wonder if the real reason he doesn't bring in sparring partners for camp is just to save money for his 'share'. He would never expect Yarde to win in Russia against Kovalev so why waste 30k+ getting in some top guys to train with.

Both DD and Yarde showed no urgency to pull it out the bag. No fighting spirit.
