Prime 1973 George Foreman vs Prime Andrew Golota. Can Anfrew low blow George for a victory? Or will George overwhelm Andrew?

Quick starter and great puncher vs mentally fragile slow starter. The answer is obvious.

    Foreman KO1

    Foreman ko.

This may be one of the easiest hypothetical matchups to predict ever postulated on this forum. Lol.

This thread was started by me to see if a power puncher like George Foreman could overcome a tall fighter with a habit for dirty fighting could intimidate a tough fighter like George Foreman. I do not think that Foreman would give Andrew a chance to land his low blows, Big George would overwhelm Andrew in round 1 as he did to Ken Norton a year later.

Golota does a number on "Big George" as he did to Bowe, but this time, Andrew's corner is able to yell him to victory as the Pole has the fight of his life. Andrew squeaks by in a majority decision in what is a stunning upset.

Golota would be bigger, better skilled, better stamina, etc. Foreman would have the confidence of being undefeated but, like Golota he was not strong mentally in the 70s. If Golota was as he was in the Bowe fights he might well stop Foreman. Foreman had not faced a bigger, better boxer and a 6-3, 217 pounder swinging wide might not do well against a fundamentally sound 6-4, 240 pound opponent. Whether it was lack of stamina or just being too tense, Foreman didn't have good stamina. The best Golota would have an excellent chance in this match up.

Golota is just so unpredictable. I am not sure if Foreman is going to win by KO or Golota will foul his way out. I saw both Bowe fights lived and to this day I still do not understand what happen lol.

Golota would **** on himself during the staredown, so his only hope is that George rushes out, slips on it, and gets injured.

    Barring that...

    Foreman KO 2.

I think that with that stoic stare that he learned from Sonny Liston, Golota would have lost that excess blubbery 245 lbs easily in the middle of the ring.
