This is a very interesting match up that can solidify whether michael hunter can be seen as a serious threat to the heavyweight division somewhat like usyk or whether joseph parker still has it within him to be an elite heavyweight or he's done for

Would be a great fight between two fighters I rate highly and a tough fight to preditct a winner.

Right now I'd favour Hunter. His movement would give Parker issues, leaving Parker throwing single shots. He's beaten bigger heavies in Bakole and Ustinov and proved he could compete with the more skilled and harder punching Povetkin.

It would be competitive, Parker is not an easy fight for anyone but Hunter for me wins a decision in a tough fight. Though even if Hunter does win it for me still doesn't prove he's a real threat to the top guys Fury, Joshua or even Usyk who he's lost to already.

Now that would be a kick in the chicken McNuggets!!! A draw would just put Hunter’s career on a perpetual treadmill.

Parker has lacked ambition for years and is just going through the motions, so I’d favor Hunter.

I think Parker does well, Hunters main advantage against the big heavies is speed, fluidity and more output.
Those advantages are somewhat less pronounced against Parker who is very fast fluid and skilled himself.

Parkers only problem is that he isn't really a vicious animal. Other than that he is really good. Only Fury Usyk Parker and Hunter are fluid and skilled. All of the others are all stiff, unskilled or rely on power.

In the 80s the entire division could box fluidly. Tubbs Biggs Williams Tucker Douglas Tyson Witherspoon Thomas holyfield Spinks dokes page etc some of them could punch but ALL of them could box.

Nowadays the majority of the division relies on physicality

Hunter is far hungrier and has the type of high octane herky-jerky style to befuddle the limited Parker. I expect Parker to have his moments chasing down Hunter and unloading his explosive combinations on him, but Hunter's movement and awkwardness would give him fits and defuse a lot of his offense. I expect Hunter to take it on a close but fairly clear decision win in a frustrating night for Parker.

Parker going through the motions like a ***** on their 5th client of the day.

Hunter on the up and as ambitious as they come.

It will be close on the cards but I think Hunter banks the early rounds and then cruises the later rounds once it is already in the bag.

I just don’t think Parker has the desire, I mean he doesn’t seem to be active enough as he doesn’t have that killer instinct. Plus he’s not that quick. He is tough and durable but he seems to be lacking in the desire department.

Not that quick? Quickness is one of the few things he has over most fighters in the division, including Hunter. Quick hands anyway. Feet are a bit plodding.
