Yarde athletically is a beast, would probably be able to do many sports well. He may be better of trying his trade as an NFL WR. Unfortunately, he is no Roy Jones (Peak), so he is not good enough in the ring to get away with the countless flaws and bad habits he has. e.g. his footwork is terrible. The fundamentals aren't there. Any top-quality fighter will expose him again, the games over. As I said before the kid has been brainwashed by that complete idiot Tunde. Some of the interviews I have seen after the fight are something else. Something is mentally wrong with Tunde, seriously.
Tundi making threats like that wants to watch what he's saying...the latest BBTV interview with Pat Barrett and Pat really goes in on Tunde, he gives him a real roasting, I was quite surprised the when I watched it last night, Pat was really getting mad, and tbf he was right in everything he said. Pat gave tunde and Anthony a lot of respect going into the fight and he feels that "lions in the camp" have totally disrespected Lyndon & Pat since that fateful night on Sat. He gives an it both barrels. Tunde wants to watch what his saying cos you don't want to be making public threats against men like Pat. Callum Johnson going in against a world class operater like Beterbiev as an underdog and losing, is nothing like Yarde going in as the favourite against a domestic level fighter like Lyndon and losing. Tunde seriously needs have a word with himself.
That's the vid. Good watch. That pic reminds me of snatch, where that bloke Rory, is telling Nick the Greek that he'll kill him.
Tunde is obviously feeling the pressure, he can't be that sure Yarde is going to stay with him. He is talking about people trying to "assassinate" him, if he was that sure he wasn't going to be sacked off he would come and say something like "I don't care what anybody says, me and Anthony will continue..." But he sounds like he is trying to play the victim a little bit, like the world is against him. The world isn't against him, ex pros, current pros, ex trainers, current trainer and boxing fans see right through him.. the only person that can't is Yarde. Yarde should just go and train at another gym for a couple of weeks, somebody he can trust, somebody he feels comfortable with and see what happens. See if he starts picking up knowledge and understanding because it can happen that quickly and then make a decision. Because when almost the entire boxing community are telling you the same thing you have to listen, everybody can't be wrong.
The problem is when one is young they are naive. He will look back at his career when all is said and done and kick himself for staying with Tunde. It's his career and life on the line, not Tunde's. The problem is Tunde hangs on Yarde like a vulture so they seem to together everywhere. Yarde needs a breakaway to speak to some wise counsel, somebody who he respects and will tell him the truth.
I agree, you're right, Yarde will regret this time spent with Tunde when all is done and dusted. But.. My issue with Yarde himself is that he's 29 years old, he isn't a baby, so he must have the maturity to understand what's actually happening here. I also think many people are telling him, blatantly telling him what's wrong but it's almost as is if he brainwashed. In my opinion Tunde would be at home working with that Spac Nation, he reminds of one of those types.
