Although I want to see unification, the rules should apply for everyone.
You can't just shove someone to the sidelines because a bigger (money) fight is or might be happening, that's an even bigger issue with boxing as the lack of (full) unification fights.

    Possible scenario...
    Joshi beats Pulev as expected.
Fury beats some pushover as expected.
Then the Joshi vs Fury fight is made for June 5, 2021.
The fight ends a draw or has a controversial winner.
Rematch is set for December 4, 2021.
    Fury wins by close UD.
After a couple of months Fury decides that he drops that belt too, just like he already dropped the WBC and IBF by then...
Usyk now has to start negotiating with the WBO #2, for way less money.
Usyk fights Parker March 19 of 2022.

Yeah pretty sure he was. The point I'm making is you can't debase the achievement of a Joyce or Usyk based on the perception of a poor record, when the same applies to the incumbent. I mean Joshua was trying not to laugh in the face off with Martin, he was that much of a bum :D

I want to see Usyk in action and I want to see if he's got the stones to hand with a bomber like AJ. Can his agility and footwork defeat the power of the giant? So my vote is simple.

First off, it’s ridiculous that Usyk is a mandatory for a World Title belt at HW, his Cruiserweight career is only marginally relevant and he hasn’t fought his way up to a shot yet.

Secondly, there’s a global pandemic which has virtually shut the world down let alone boxing, these are special circumstances and governing bodies should show some patience

Lastly, Joshua’s the recognised unified World Champion so why would you devalue your sanctioning body, belt and version of the title by having anyone other than Joshua or Fury hold it.

AJ won his first world title off of Charles Martin who in turn had won it on a freak knee injury in a vacant title fight after the IBF stripped Fury of it two weeks after he'd won it because he wanted to rematch Wlad instead of defend against his mandatory who'd already been the recipient of two or it might even have been three gift decisions along the way to earn his lofty ranking.

AJ won his second world title against a 41 y/0 Wlad who was coming off a loss and hadn't fought in a year and a half.

He won both of them in his backyard too where everything was stacked in his favour like it had been in London 2012 where he was the recipient of not one but two gifts from the judges on route to winning Olympic gold. He wasn't only a fraudulent gold medalist he was a fraudulent medalist period because he should've been sent packing after his first bout against Savon.

Obviously that gold medal he 'won' afforded him certain privileges when he turned pro that he would not have enjoyed had he come home empty handed which everyone knows he should have. How can AJ wear that gold medal with pride when not only he knows he didn't deserve to even medal in those games but the whole world knows it too?

AJ himself says part of the appeal of fight against Usyk is because they're both Olympic gold medalists but he says that knowing full well he's a fraudulent one.

As for Usyk who won his Olympic gold medal fair and square after being robbed in the previous Olympics against the fighter who went on to win silver in those games (Usyk would've definitely won gold had he not been robbed IMO). Well that's the WBO's rule, a rule which for some strange reason people only seem to have a problem with when it comes to Usyk. Weird how no one had a problem with Terence Crawford breezing into a mandatory position at 140 and 147 as soon as he departed 135 and 140 respectively.

In complete contrast to AJ who won his Olympic gold and all his world titles in his backyard with the exception of his rematch in Saudi against that fat blob Ruiz, Usyk won all his in his opponent's backyard and none of which were vacant title shots or against useless dossers like Prince Charlie Martin who Usyk's son Murat already bashed up in the gym or inactive senior citizens. He won them all off of prime reigning champions in their backyards and if you don;t think that home advantage is a thing allow me to refer you to AJ somehow managing to bring back gold from the Olympics despite the fact that he lost 50% of his bouts in those games. What happened the only time AJ travelled over to his opponent's backyard? That's right the fraudulent gold medalist/destroyer of senior citizens got knocked out by a walking blob lol

And AJ and Fury are planning on fighting each other twice in 2021 not once so Usyk will be frozen out all year

Chisora and Joyce are way better than Prince Charlie Martin and this is what AJ had to say about sparring Chisora last year

I’d prefer to see AJ vs Fury as long they can get it done in a reasonable time frame and not make Usyk wait to 2022.

This. Usyk isn’t gullible like Ortiz was. If Joshua doesn’t fight him and refuses to vacate the belt I see Usyk’s people taking Joshua to court. It would be cheaper for Joshua to just fight Usyk or vacate, since I don’t see Usyk voluntarily putting his career on hold for 1-2 years for a Joshua-Fury unification that will definitely involve 2-3 fights.

I want to see Fury vs AJ first while Furys head is still sane and he's motivated. What the WBO does with their belt I don't really care. But if Aj vacates and Usyk picks up the title in a vacant bout then the fight with Usyk vs the winner of AJ/Fury would be easier to market to the casuals with Usyk as a champion. This also gives Usyk a much needed interim fight before he steps up to the absolute top level in the current HW division.

Or you would know the bigger picture is Glowacki, Hunter, Huck, Briedis, Gassiev, Bellew, Witherspoon, Chisora and potentially Joyce all in their own back yards. If Usyk wins the vacant WBO because AJ couldn’t meet his mandatory he’ll be as legit as AJ and Fury as a title holder. His resume already puts Fury’s to shame.

I speak fluent Anthony Joshua and would like to offer my translation services:

“I don’t want any part of Usyk as that could de-rail my cash out fight with Fury”

Usyk's fans in forum repeatedly are using phrase back yards.
WBSS did not had used local inspectors, refs or judges for these fights.:D
This doesn't prevents ppl in forums repeatedly brag about backyards.
    Reapeatedly boring.

Joyce is better than Charles Martin who Joshua beat for the IBf or Stiverne who Wilder beat for the WBC. Might even be better than ruiz that Parker beat for the wbo. I could see Joyce UDing ruiz with his jab, reach and footmovement

Fat Andy ''didn't want that smoke'' with Joyce when the later moseyed on over to him in the gym mano e mano like we do over here on The Island of Iron-jawed Warriors

They do share one common opponent in the pros in Joe Hanks who Fat Andy stopped in 4 and Joyce iced in a round.
