I've seen a video of him looking tired hitting the old aqua bag in the Canelo camp on a video by Oscar Valdez lately.

A very 'truthful' post, thread should have ended here. No actually it should never have started...!

The fact that Ruiz has been missing since that AJ fight says it all. What the heck is doing these days?

Of course because pro boxing is business.

Ruiz wasn't mandatory but enough highly ranked to do vs him a tittle defence fight.
Looks that looked if not enough old then at least enough fat to pick up.

Ruiz looks so comical when he sucks his gut in at weigh ins. It's like all his belly fat gets hoisted up into his upper torso making him look like a huge barrel-chested mofo, albeit with all-over cellulite and zero muscle definition.

Then when he fights he adopts that hunchbacked stance and gets a serious case of back boobs.

What a wonderful time we had with him as champ.

He at least does beat hard. If landed.
Yes, looks that he is lazy and leg lazy.
Still his win vs A.J looked more impressive than A.J in this their 2 nd fight.
Ofc for A.J fans no difference there, points win is enough serious reason forget TKO in previous fight vs Ruiz.

He shouldn’t have accepted that diet advice from Buster Douglas! Fat Andy looked like he sat on an air hose in that second fight. Disgraceful lack of discipline by a so called champ. His next opponent is going to be type 2 diabetes.

I’d love to see him in shape and motivated but if being champ isn’t motivation enough...

One of the best set-ups in boxing history, respect and gratitude goes to whoever made that fight happen. That fight was a wake up call for physique-size-kings who dismissed chubby short guys.

Now we know skilled Snickers sponsored boxers can take out any flagship-Heavyweight, if they are unleashed in a real on-the-level fight
