I can see the logic behind making Usyk wait till after AJ-Fury, but if thats the case AJ needs to vacate as Usyk needs to get something for stepping aside and a fight for the WBO belt would most likely suffice.

I don't see the issue in AJ vacating. No fighter in the sport has a bigger set of plums than Usyk and he not only wants to fight AJ in his backyard he was on record years ago saying he wants to come to the UK to fight him and given his track record for being the sport's undisputed king of road warriors only a complete moron would doubt he means it.

Should Usyk win the vacant WBO strap he'll be waiting for his opportunity to annex the rest of the belts off of either AJ or Fury and he'll be ready and willing to step up to the plate as soon as the opportunity presents itself to him so it's not like it's going to be an AJ's ducking The Tuscaloser or The Tuscaloser is ducking AJ scenario all over again because Usyk is a man of his word and playing the ducking game isn't and never has been his style, quite the contrary in fact.

They should let Fury/Joshua 1 go ahead within a near future time window, then the winner should vacate if they are going to proceed with an immediate rematch. Fury/Joshua 1 --> Joshua-Usyk + Fury-Wilder --> whatever the outcomes Fury/Joshua 2, works for me. Let's hope the vaccines change the landscape sooner rather than later and 2021 can be a year of making up for lost time.

No, but the WBO shouldn't make Usyk the victim of a possible big fight between Joshua and Fury. Let Joshua vacate the WBO belt, and ten the winner can fight Usyk for all the marbles if he wants to becme undisputed.

P.R tactique to use fights location. Event's promoter is thing that does matters. In WBSS this was the same promoter.

Never. A.J is a hometown fighter, typical hometown A side fighter.;)
    ----------
Ruiz is more interesting than A.J, he fought vs Parker in New Zealand and scores on cards were 115-113, 115-113, 114-114.

Ofc Usyk is younger than 39. yo Pulev. More risky fight for A.J.

FFS, Usyk has been waiting for 2 years now.
What is he supposed to do? Wait it out and hope that Joshua´s next two fights go according to plan and then he gets as shot at Fury/Joshua?
    Nah. **** that.

Imo Uysk hasnt done enough within the heavyweight division to be in a position to enforce a mandatory. Witherspoon and Chisora shouldnt elevate ya to those dizzy heights so quickly. Lets see the unification bout say May/June. Fury can have a fight in February as his tune up. Uysk beats a Parker, Povetkin or Whyte in between and then gets the winner of Fury v AJ

If only the various organisations made life as simple.....lol

Be real here... Stiverne (WBC) became mandatory by beating an ancient Ray Austin, and later again by getting a gift against Rossy and doing nothing for 2 years. Parker (WBO) by beating past it Dimitrenko, Pulev (IBF) by beating Huggie, Fury (WBO/WBA) by beating Hammer, and testing positive after.... And there are dozens of more examples.
He is the WBO mandatory and he has the right to challenge.

He’s fought Bellew and Chisora, that’s not enough to put him in a position of making demands of the real Heavyweight Champions. Usyk needs to beat at least one if not two of the top 5 then he will be deserving of a shot at the Title. Being made mandatory by the least prestigious of the belts bodies doesn’t make him deserving or ready for a Heavyweight Title shot.

 He IS the mandatory, and has been for nearly two years. You are just arguing semantics at this point.
And what is ironic is that Fury, Wilder nor Joshua beat anyone in the top 10 before their title shots.
