Thanks to all who saved me from drowning tonight. I don't think I enjoyed the bout as much as some others here - Pudding Pulev far too one dimensional. Hughie Fury would've put up a better show than that. Did he even land more than 2 clean shots on Joshua? He had as much offence as a heavy bag.

I'll now be avoiding the IFL TV interviews for a good week or so.

Came across the wrong way. In no way is the Usyk fight an easy fight, I see how that comes across now the original message.

But I have the feeling he’d rather lose to Usyk than Fury. A feeling, I could be talking shite.
This just stinks of Brook Khan.

As a manc I like fury and have watched him live 6 times but I see someone here talking about records. Fury does not even come close to Joshua.

AJ fought a very professional fight.

Dropped him 4 times but also fought at range when needed.

    Options.

He's speaking the truth. Joshua was shaky as hell when he got asked about the Fury fight.

I thought Pulev actually did well to smother a fair few of those uppercuts with his gloves. If AJ ever fights Whyte again you know that uppercut is landing again and we’ll see another Patrick Trueman special.

Wasn’t able to post all night as I was rowing the boat on my phone and didn’t want to risk losing the connection.

Thought the Bakole v Kuzmin fight was entertaining. Had it a draw myself. Thought Kuzmin landed the better shots. Bakole was controlling it so well with the jab but seemed unable to resist having a tear up.

Hughie Fury was excellent. That was quality. A complete transformation. I know it was only Wach but I saw more variety in his attacks, he was positive, he fought on the front foot and he demonstrated a lot of skill. Credit to the kid. Along with Conor Benn, that was one of the most improved ‘British’ fighter performances of the year.

Okolie was as ruthless as you should expect him to be against a Polish lorry driver.

Joshua boxed very well against a stubborn Pulev. Pulev reminded me of an uncle dancing at a family party where the top half the body still does the moves but the legs are a second or two behind. Pulev looked so vulnerable and Joshua should have been given the stoppage in the third round. Clearly spunked his load and waited for his second wind which came late on. Fair play, beautiful ruthless finish. Exactly what I wanted to see to sell the Fury/Usyk fight.

    Best £24.99 I’ve never spent.

Considering he was running and turning his back in round three he was breve after that.

Yeah he wasn’t thinking straight when he turned his back tbh, I don’t think anyone could have complained if the ref stopped the fight there. He wasn’t thinking straight and should have taken a knee.

Showed heart for the remainder of the fight though, he really believed he could knock Joshua out.

I had Kuzmin by a couple mate. Definitely couldn’t see it for Bakole and the cards as expected were ridiculously wide.

Think Bakole was exposed big time as a plodder tonight, think Whyte would KO him no bother.

Even watching Pulev, the constant little movements and feints and always on his toes was just levels and levels above Bakole.

I agree with you. Fury can go into that fight with disadvantage of a 16 month or so layout and will still outclass him. Will feel for Joshua a bit, as he is very good but after Fury shows his level people will be saying he is dud, when he is obviously not.
