Hard to say. Joshua is so much bigger than Usyk it is difficult to see how Usyk can survive to get a decision. But, anything is possible and if anyone can do it Usyk can.

Unified Cruiserweight champ (being a world champ says something). Beat Chisora, Hunter when Cruiserweight and Joyce in the amateurs.

Joyce is ranked #2 by the WBO. Hunter is ranked #4 by IBF. Chisora ranked #13 by WBC all at HW. Plus Usyk is still undefeated as professional fighter. Uysk is without question Top 10 and probably Top 5 with champ Fury and Joshua to go with former champs Ruiz and Wilder.

Not a lot of data points but enough IMO.

If Usyk was a natural modern heavyweight, I'd easily take him. But he's a bit past his best and lacking in the size and power department at heavyweight. It's still competitive, but I'd favor Joshua on size, the more damaging punches, and possibly getting Usyk into some trouble at various points.

I'm pretty underwhelmed by Usyk at this weight so far. And Joshua, despite his flaws, is top-shelf in today's mediocre era.

For whatever reason people think Uysk is a tiny HW. Like he's Roy Jones Jr. who is a LHW with a walking around weigh of 195 pounds. He's probably 235 when not in camp, 250+ if he let himself go.

He's more of an average sized HW. He was able to reimpose his pressure tactics against a big HW. Chisora brought his A game in the fight.

The question is more can he ultimately handle the power of the elite HW. He can handle Top 15 power. We will see.

    Usyk points.

If an old man like Pulev can drag him that many rounds, Usyk will run rings around him.

Yeah but Fury and Joshua have both had mediocre UD wins in there like Uysk's over Chisora. For that reason the jury is still out on Uysk aside from the point that he belongs giving HW a shot which he the comparables to back up (Joyce, Hunter, Chisora). He can handle ranked HW competition.

Pulev didn't win a round and how would Usyk fare against Pulev ?? A boring, one sided decision win with no KD's most likely, would that prove Usyk loses to AJ ?? Of course not but just because a tough veteran like Pulev managed to survive for 9 rounds doesn't mean much in regards to an AJ - Usyk fight.

Yeah, I don't think he will take them because he's not going to be standing around watching the paint dry like Pulev and a lot of other heavies.
