Have just started this thread and it's pretty funny already.
During one of the pressers they were having for the AJ-Miller fight, Miller was acting like a tool like only he can. AJ asked him if he was 5 y/o or something like that

I've no idea but it looked like Joshua was about to show his respect and pulev started saying something to him. Joshua and his body language then changed. The guy who interviewed him never asked about it.
The whole interview afterwards was strange. Joshua starts saying now isn't the time for talking. I thought it was the perfect time for talking he had a microphone in his face.

Joshua should have said I want fury next let's get it done. Let's see who is number 1. **** the wbo and **** wilder let's fight.

After the fight pulev was telling him “ remember who i am “ and joshua got scared and said “ who are you? “, joshua was getting pissed and ready to fight because he realized pulev is truly crazy and dangerous. Pulev would destroy joshua in a street fight no doubt.

When you're not there to listen in I think you have to be careful not to read too much into things. Maybe it was all good, maybe something naughty was said, who is to say?

I think the biggest test of character Joshua faced was how to deal with the defeat against Ruiz JR. He could've pulled a Wilder and started blaming people left right and centre, it even seemed as if he'd been out of sorts coming in so he could've cited a bad camp, injury etc. but he didn't. He gave due respect to his opponent and kept his mouth shut. So I think we should remember that and cut the lad some slack until evidence emerges that say anything different.

No I did not actually. Pulev has made a lot of classless statements including those with race overtones so not surprising AJ still wanted to cave his head in after the fight.

It's not going to be easy to take a knee at that point where he's getting pummelled with punches, is dazed and is under an unrelenting onslaught from Joshua. In hindsight he probably wanted to take a knee but just literally wasn't able to do it at that point. He turned his back to literally "take cover" at the corner.

Really the ref had pretty good reason to call the fight off as soon as Pulev's back turned but I don't believe that Pulev was trying to quit. He just didn't have the time to compose himself and take a knee.

Trainers should ingrain in boxers that taking the knee can be a tactical move, especially when you've already lost the round. If Pulev took a knee again he'd have made it to the end of the round and maybe have a gassed AJ in the next one.
