Honestly people on here talking about Callum Smith having only 3 weeks to prepare for the Canelo fight are just reaching for excuses not to give him full credit. Smith has been in the gym sharpening up his skills and staying in shape for months, the same as Canelo. Smith will not have any issues making weight, and poses the toughest challenge for Canelo since GGG.

WE got to give Canelo credit for giving us a fight to close out this crappy year against the number 1 guy at 168. If canelo wins theres no way anyone can argue hes not the number 1 p4p fighter in the world, unless youre a damn JOKER and absolute hater of the fiery redhead of guadalajara jalisco, mexico!

I'm not the biggest Canelo fan but I already have him as #1.

He's already #1, glad the fight got made, should have given him a real camp nonetheless.

There's staying in shape and there's training with the biggest event of your professional life on the calendar.

Absolutely. Ive had Canelo #1 since he beat GGG. But you get other guys who wanna say Crawford, spence, pac are over Canelo when theres no way. This fight solidifies his status.

Clenelo is not on Usyk's level.

Imagine fighting in a big fight with the odds stacked against you, Either home venue, home promotion, home judges etc.

How many other fighters backyards has canelo fought in compared to Uzyk ?

Oh wait, that will never be Canelo....
