People are forgetting that shot Klitschko lost to AJ by a hair's breadth. So yes, ANCIENT Wlad faced a 6'6 245lb man that threw quick combinations and nearly knocked him TF out.

Haye would be an underdog, sure; but his explosive one shot power will make Joshua wary and if he lands flush with his right hand or left hook, he can take Joshua out.

He was one or two clean shots away from ironing Joshua out, but couldn't seem to pull the trigger and get the finish after he dropped Joshua.

    Apparently this is the culprit:

""I blame myself for the defeat of my brother, I share some of the blame. When Wladimir almost knocked Joshua out, I gave him the wrong advice. "I was positive that Joshua, with his huge muscle mass, would not be able to last [the distance]. I advised Wladimir not to rush anything. I had hoped that after the seventh, the eighth round, Joshua would really slow down.

"Now I think that maybe it was a mistake, maybe it was necessary to finish him off sooner.""

You could say that was not a prime Joshua just like the Klitschko that got destroyed by bums Purrity, Sanders and Brewster was not in his prime.

I'm an AJ fan but, I agree wholeheartedly. A prime/very best WK is a shoe in for top 10ATG at HW and an absolute monster H2H. in his prime he quite literally was 'Ivan Drago'.

How was his power overrated? Merked the iron chinned full fledged heavy in Chisora.

He was 28 at the time. At a similar age Klitschko got knocked down 3 times against Samuel Peter, the same guy who couldn't knock down blown up middleweight James Toney.

There really isn't that much difference between Klitschko and Joshua.

Name me one fighter who Klitschko beat who was similar in size to Joshua with all his attributes - fast puncher with power and good inside game.

This is these A.J fanboiZ opinions. How super better this A.J is than these prime Klitschko, Lewis etc were.
    Typical A.J cult.

    Nothing wrong, fans are fans.
Bodybuilder and old uncles beater will fight vs Usyk or no?
Ohh, I predict illness reaction from these A.J fans: wow, our A.J is our superhero, others are/ were bums etc noise.
    Typical bodybuilder's fanbase.

Considering Wlad was 41-years-old vs Joshua and put prime Joshua on his arse. I'd say prime Wlad by KO.

It would resemble the Ray Austin fight. AJ only won because Wlad’s timing and reflexes were all gone. Those big left hooks Joshua was slipping wouldn’t be slipped. He wouldn’t even have enough time to spit his mouthpiece out and buy time/quit.
