I am. I want to see how much he's got left in the tank. So far I've not been impressed by GGG under Banks - or maybe its his age hindering his performance. Szeremeta is a good boxer, and he'd be quite dangerous if he had some power. Unfortunately he has no power and Golovkin should - if he's still got some mileage left - destroy him. If he struggles with Szeremeta then he should probably think about retirement.
I can't wait. Between him and Clen, it'll be a good weekend of boxing. I'm hoping to get a better idea of if GGG is really aging quickly, or if he's starting to evolve more under his new trainer. Hopefully he shows something that puts him back in the running for another mega fight.
Golovkin is fighting a nobody in a predictable fight as is usual for him, on Friday, would represent house salad before the main course at a restaurant, while Canelo is fighting for SMW supremacy in a legacy defining fight where he once again gives up many advantages on Saturday as the main course.
he's fighting a barista from starbucks. you people are really impressed by anything arent you? I guess it still beats most of the crap on TV, I guess I'll give you that much
Hes always fighting guys who have low KO pct or guys that are smaller moving up.. Wed never see GGG in with a Callum Smith ever. Hed fight beefy smith before he ever signed to fight Callum.
Not sure GGG wins this one.....he,s getting slower all the time and he doesn,t throw that many punches anymore. I scored his last fight against SD a draw btw...
