Paul Gallen vs Mark Hunt

I think Hunt will struggle with 12 mins let alone 12 rounds.

He likely won't need that long though. I said in another thread if Gallen was seasoned spoiler and not just a novice brawler I'd bet the house against Hunt.

But you don't have to be particularly quick or skilled to find Gallen. He fights a little bit better than your average league convert but he is what he is.

He has got decent conditioning and a good engine though. If he can survive into the last 3 rounds he might be able to snatch a decision.

 

Yep I got $200 on Gallen for the upset. Apparently Gallen wanted it to be 8 rounds but Hunt’s manager insisted on 6 rounds. Hunt’s best shot is early KO the longer it goes I favour Gallen because Hunt is well past his best dude is 46 years old.

 

Hunt went 15 min with guys like Curtis Blaydes and Justin Willis ~ 2 years ago in MMA. He should be okay for 18 minutes in a boxing ring without any grappling. His opponent is 40 years old as well so it's not like he's fighting a 26 yo fresh as daisy prospect who will bring the heat for 12 minutes.

 

Gallen was a grub both on and off the field as a footballer but somehow landed a job on tv here, where we have to put up with looking at his ugly head everytime i see a game.
As a boxer he's been paid decent money exclusively fighting bums with losing records and novice ex footy players and i hope Hunt takes his ****ing head off

QLDers loved nothing more then beating Gallen over and over again and seeing him keep getting picked as captain,so we could keep seeing him sulk and complain after each loss,i guess it's a bit like you on here after each of your predictions end up losing again and again.

 

Yep he is a typical inbred queenslander. They hate Paul Gallen because he stood up to one of their biggest grubs Nate Myles Gallen hit him with a cheeky 1-2 in a origin game and the Queenslanders got so butthurt that they had to outlaw fighting in Rugby League after that.

That is what is so funny despite beating Gallen all the time the inbreds still hated him. I suppose there is not much to do up there besides watching footy.
