Would be funny if Whye and Matchroom called Wilders bluff about wanting to fight Whyte next. Obviously if Matchroom did make an offer, Wilders management would turn it down to fight Helenius or somone of that quality.

Also Whyte team have always been really desperate to make the Ruiz fight. I think that his management see that fight as a good fight for him stylistically.

Because there was as clean cut a victory as you get, no injuries, bad decision etc. Took it out of the judges hands an he has to do it again ?? Does that sound right to you ?? Shall they just keep fighting each other until Whyte wins ?? What then ? Yep, no more rematches for Pov. It’s corruption

"winning on the cards" at the 4 round mark doesn't mean much, especially when you're sparked out at the beginning of the 5th.
    I think that's the point.

I thought the first 3 rounds can be scored 2-1 either way or 1-1-1.
But, yes, he scored a couple of knockdowns in the 4th. It was evident that Povetkin is a shot old man with 3 good rounds in him against someone strong as Whyte. And Whyte still managed to get sparked out.
Probably time for both of them to retire, to be honest.

Well Ruiz and Willder have both ducked Whyte before and I think they will again. Hopefully Ortiz will be willing unlike when he was offered the AJ fight and turned it down.

Whyte needs to find another old man to spark his melonhead out. Maybe ancient Ortiz will oblige.

No need to be snarky you tool, they just said he recovered before, but his immune system would still be diminished so this is the most likely scenario. Also I actually do know quite a bit about medicine considering that's my field of expertise and family background.

I think this is presents an opportunity for Povetkin to bow out gracefully. Go out with a big win.

Whyte makes for a good fight. He, Ortiz and Ruiz should all fight each other in some capacity.

To be fair Povetkins is mandatory for WBC and I wouldn't begrudge him another title shot and chance to be world champion although he would be underddog.

I agree it makes financial sense for him to keep going. I just don't think it's going to end well, especially given a couple of different stints in the hospital. Hopefully he has taken care of his money and can afford to retire.

Wilder ducked him for years to fight much less skilles opponents and Ruiz turned down a bif money offer to fight him.

retire. He is 41 and if had been in hospital and now again. Damn, he is old.

All these belts and tittles are joke. Povetkin cracked ppl and was nice to watch.

He is 41 and looks that recently had been in the hospital and now again. Retirement.
I too laugh even at these World tittles. Nothing this matters unless for fans and boxing orgs. Better sales and like this.
