Gal is fit as **** and has a decent chin no doubt but plebs have been wrong about Hunt due to his appearance and his cardio for 20+years and while ii know he didn't train that hard for this,he's tough as nails and almost always fighting till the end,unless he already knocked them the **** out

 

I know people say boxing fitness is the best of the lot but I gotta say rugby players are made to be fighters because their stamina is insane too. It's a crazy tough game.

 

A lot of our athletic talent goes into the more popular sporting codes. Especially at the higher weights.

There would be some guys that would have been good boxers but went into League/Union/AFL.

Former AFL players might not do so bad aswell. Because their cardio is off the charts and they are often tall, rangy guys.

You look at a guy Joe Goodall who is of average size and athletic talent, not top tier technically either but could throw and move non stop for the full amateur distance.
When he take on some of the poly boys we would just outlast them and be able to stick to his game plan when they were puffed out and tired.

Never cheered for Gallen in my life, always thought he was a grub on the footy field but took $3.30 on betfair (1 week ago) him to win plus something small @ $4.5 to also win on points..... i never cheered harder for Gal last night...lol
