He admits he was petty scum as a kid. Lots of accounts have the bulk of his juvenile criminal career as muggings of women in his neighbourhood. Funny though, he still has a load of weird fanboys who will even glorify that part of his life story, and paint him as some big badass urban gangster, instead of the smelly little cowardly dishonourable weasel he admits he was. It's a fascinating story how he went from that to being D'amato's star pupil and protege and living in that big house "with those white people" and becoming a global superstar, all within a few years. What a life. No wonder he took a few decades to adjust himself. Great to hear him recount his story.
