He either fight Usyk next or he have to vacate. He get free pass already, so he either fight Usyk or vacate.
Usyk should also push for this, cause he will have a bigger hand in the negotiate if he have a belt.

After the current information about the 2 fight deal next year, do people still think the WBO should have let Usyk wait?
It's pretty comparable to my scenario earlier on in the thread.

Joshi beats Pulev as expected. Turns out he did, KO9.
Fury beats some pushover as expected. This is even more likely now.
Then the Joshi vs Fury fight is made for June 5, 2021. Date not set yet.
The fight ends a draw or has a controversial winner. Obviously they thought of this, and it seems like even a reasonably close fight gives a rematch in this case.
Rematch is set for December 4, 2021. Again, no date set, but good chance there will be a rematch.
From here on out, it's all speculation, but it seems clear that it would take quite some time for Usyk to get his shot, if ever.
    Fury wins by close UD.
After a couple of months Fury decides that he drops that belt too, just like he already dropped the WBC and IBF by then...
Usyk now has to start negotiating with the WBO #2, for way less money.
Usyk fights Parker March 19 of 2022.

So long as Usyk realises no one will realise him a real champion, just holding a belt. The fact that Joyce is the man he may have to beat to become champion is laughable.

He may as well step aside until the 2 fights are over.

No one you mean yourself? Of course.

Laugh in me induces all A.J fans that gladly relize him to be better than Ruiz.
Because Ruiz finished him in distance and A.J had won rematch on points.

Ohh, I predict loud yelling from fans, insults, points to bad english etc.

I do have rights on my opinion and until he will fight with Ruiz 3 rd fight and won this one.
He for me is not better boxer than Andy Ruiz Jr.

Now bursts with insults and biting will be posted here, casual stuff in forums for fans.
He should prove that he is better boxer than Ruiz in 3 rd fight.
Until he will be enough old of course. Comfortable and nice solution.

Yeah, Pulev fight had predictable outcome. This even lasted so long in the ring.

Ofc if he had fight vs Usyk, it might be had sold better. Okey, he choosed fight with Pulev and this one belt? Instead of Usyk? Okey.
He had been allowed and now again Usyk should wait?
Or if he doesn't wish Usyk, might had took Fury instead of Pulev.
Nothing wrong, sales might be excellent.

They wish to wait until covid will disappear? Everyone is waiting since march. It didn't happened.
Boxers are getting older, time is going, tick tack, tick tack.

They just need to make the Fury fight.
    Forget Usyk and the WBO.

    It's really really simple.
    If they want the fight.

Hypocrisy at its finest. The **** did Aj, Wilder and Fury do to get their shots?
Usyk has cemented himself as one of the P4P best boxers in the world.
He was the undisputed CW champ.
He has been the WBO mandatory for about 2 years now.
"He has to beat a top 5 opponent". No he doesnt.
Pulev, Ruiz, Parker... none of them had to fight even anyone in the top 10 before their first title shot.
    Ak, Fury, Wilder...

Hypocrite and nationalistic attitude. Big entertainment market.

Usyk had won WBO World Cruiser tittle in 17.09.2016 and after this succesfully defended this one in 6 fights.
According to rules if boxer change weight class, former ranking does have impact in next weight class too.
If for fans in forums it is fine when these rules are applied to some U.S or U.K fighter, then if someone from Ukraine then different world should be created?

Okey, masculinity stuff for forums and boxing fans.
    Belts. Sales.

Name fighter, better fighter, large, larger.

I wished to see fight like A.J vs Spong under K-1 rules. To determine who is better under this one. WoW, how amazingly this might had look.
    Beautiful entertainment and pleasure.

If Usyk was so bad AJ wouldn't duck him even with the judges in is corner.

had rusehd to fight vs Usyk at first, before Pulev.
Usyk is more well known than Pulev and he had belts, is Ali trophy winner and unlike Pulev, was Olympic Gold medalist.
Sales looks more promising than for fight vs Pulev, 0 doubts there.

They all fought at least 15+ genuine Heavyweights en route to a little shot, they ARE genuine heavyweights and fought their way to a title shot. None of them were just elevated to a mandatory shot because they won 2 fights, one against a cruiserweight who came out of semi retirement and the other against an ageing fringe gatekeeper who actually took him all the way.

Let’s give Alvarez a shot at the title, he’s pound for pound the best in the world!

So now we’ve got your ridiculous reasons for Usyk entitlement out of the way, I’ve no problem with him campaigning for a shot at Fury or Joshua but he hasn’t done nearly enough or beaten anyone of note that puts him in a position to demand the Fury v Joshua fight for Undisputed takes a back seat for him!

If the WBO want to devalue their belt by stripping the current Champion who’s recognised by most as the Nō1 in the world then they’re stupid.

AJ Fury is the fight to make that even casual fans want to see. They need to make that fight while it's still hot, and forget about sorry ass wbo

Personally I don't believe Joshua vs Fury will happen next. Fury won't fight AJ coming off a 12+ hiatus. Joshua vs Usyk and Fury vs Kabayel/Wilder III seems more logical.

Because that was a quote, which I didn't want to put there as a quote, because then it would be less readable. Still I wanted that it stood out of the rest of the post.
