Good comeback fight for Dubois. How would it play out?

I watched a lot of Hughie Fury coming through the ranks, he was a more natural talent than Tyson Fury (Tyson was very sloppy but has grown to have amazing boxing smarts). Hughie was a proper boxer, very sound at everything, not hyped or over the top, a few losses now, Parker could of gone eithe way. Pulev cut him early and put Hughie off his game plan, I think he fell into Pulev's trap by going for the kill then, Pulev showed his experience and picked him apart. That Pulev and one that fought Joshua seemed alien to each other, tiem to hang uo the gloves age creeps up quickly. To answer your question I don't think it is a good comeback fight for Dubois because I think Hughie Fury will beat him. It'll go similar to the Joe Joyce fight, Hughie jabs well and will keep Dubois on his toes, I can't see Dubois stopping Fury, he might get a decision especially that he is their darling at the moment. If Hughie knows he's behind on the cards that could go wrong for Hughie if he has to chase for a KO. He should get a lower rank under his belt who will still be a tough opponent like Bogdan Dinu.

I see this going similar to Hughie vs apovetkin - I would go for a points win for Dubois.

Dubois wins on points because he landed some good power shots while Hughie just ran about and threw a weak jab thinking he was putting on a boxing masterclass.

I highly doubt this is a fight DD's handlers would be looking for as a comeback as he would likely look bad even in victory

    1. I like this fight
    2. Like to see how DD comes back from a bad facial injury. See if he is gun shy or not.
    3. Hughie, points W for me

Hughie has an iron chin, tough as nails.

No way in hell does young Daniel face Hughie next.

A nightmare opponent for him, as Hughie has a real set of whiskers on him and can fight off the jab for 12 rounds easily.

Doesn’t have a fighting heart in him though. When he’s down on the scorecards and his dad is literally screaming at him to let his hands go more. What does he do? Runs about, clinches and throws a shitty jab.

I like Hughie but he will go once again in his shell against a puncher and also his face cuts too easily. Needs to be matched more carefully like Whyte or Wilder.

You think Pulev suddenly got old going into the Joshua fight? You rate Hughie far too highly, the eye would’ve ruined a lot but he was never beating Pulev at that stage and done nothing against Parker to warrant taking a title off a champion.

I don't think I rate Hughie too high top 20 at best, plus I never said he would of beatin Pulev, it just put him off his game, which it did, it might of made a better contest of it. Dubois is rated very highly another hype job really, he's also top 20 at best.
Trust me age hits you like a tonne of bricks, your brain works quicker than your limbs, that instinct is gone. Those shots you could see coming, you can still see them but they hit you now. Are you telling me Pulev had the same performance, same movement, same sharpness, same awareness vs Hughie Fury as he did against Anthony Joshua?
