Biggest puncher of all time = pure bologne Verge of suicide = who cares Dethrone wlad = landed 6 punches per round against a 40 year old You think getting flattened by the 2 punches that actually landed on his chin in 2 fights with Wilder is proof that Fury has a good chin because he was able to get back up? Tyson Fury has tons of heart, but a wobbly chin. Him getting flattened hard by individual shots by men he outweighs by 40+ pounds is pretty compelling evidence if you ask me.
Wilder is the biggest 1 punch power man ever name me one more even close. Cunningham and the other guy were extremely clean punches that would have knocked down anybody. Fury was in his early 20s he dont get caught clean like that as he's to experianced now and wont get careless like that however he has always recovered strongly and knocked out everyone whos knocked him down that is a good chin. Carl Froch had the best chin in the business he got knocked down when caught clean he always recovered though.
Yeah they used to ask the same thing about another Tyson, about whether the man to beat him had been born yet and then a couple of fights later he got KOed by Buster Douglas.
Wilder best 1 punch power ever based on knocking out who exactly? Last I heard he fought nothing but bums. More wishful thinking and excuses. Listen there are plenty of guys who have never been flattened the way fury has in their entire careers. Furys head has bounced off of the canvas 3 times and the list of top quality fighters he's actually fought is a grand total of 2. One of whom was over 40 and they other was a 215 pound novice truck driver turned boxer from Alabama. Real iron chinned fighters don't get put on their backs by Steve Cunningham, sorry they just don't. On your other points; Froch the best chin in the business = bs Wilder hardest puncher ever = pure propoganda to prop up Furys **** resume
R.e. the suicidal thoughts, that was mentioned as a way of getting it across how low and out of shape he actually got mentally and physically. Still came back and did what he has so far. You're witnessing greatness. Be happy. Nobody else could do what he did against Wlad. I bet you said Wilder would knock him out, twice. As for the rest....no point in me replying because.... This would essentially be my response anyway. You still don't realise that your method of arguing is making our case, rather than yours. People spoke of Wilder as that long before Fury even came back. My point is still made either way by what I said. Whether he's the biggest ever or not (can't be proven), he's a big big puncher. So point stands
Wilder has never stopped anyone with a genuine rock solid chin. Until he does, he can't even think to lay claim to being the best 1 punch KO artist of all time. He's a big puncher, but very, very 1 dimensional. If he was to fight say Andy Ruiz and knock him out, then I would be a believer. Fury has only ever fought 2 world-class opponents, and one of those was borderline (Wilder). On what basis do some people make him the GOAT? I just don't get it. What am I missing? If he dominates and/or stops Joshua and then does the same to Usyk, then I will believe. Until then, not a chance.
Well AJ knocked out Brezeale as did Wilder Brezeale said Wilder hits harder thats all we got to go on terms of hardest hitting heavyweight today. If you think Wilder aint a big puncher your just in denial also Froch did have one of the best chins in boxing Groves knocked out plenty as did Taylor and Kessler Froch fought all of those fights with his hands down blocking punches with his face. I think you let your irrational dislike of fighters cloud your judgement the fact you mock Fury recovering from depression tells me your a twat anyway. I would question if you've ever boxed if you believe iron chinned people can't get dropped by average fighters Eubank got dropped by Calzaghe who was a great boxer not blessed with Power did Eubank have a weak chin to.
I agree, and maybe due to recency bias, but I'd pick any of them over Dubois, simply due to amateur experience.
It's funny how people write off Fury's best two wins by saying Wlad was shot and Wilder was crap. Wlad and Wilder x2 were both favourites against Fury. The Fury in the first Wilder fight was a 60% version and he still hung in there against the biggest punching heavyweight of his generation. Fury's going to school Joshua, it's going to be a similar fight to Floyd vs Canelo. The levels are going to be clear as day and night.
Fighters very rarely retire undefeated. Those that do are a small minority. I think right now he’s the best HW out, but eventually he’ll most likely lose.
Most travelers age out quickly. Fury, because of his physical size can avoid a punch out. For the majority of Fury’s career he has been loathe to engage, so he should have a couple more good fights in him. After retirement, he’s going to balloon up to a god awful gargantuan size.
